Oh and at walmart they sell little handheld sewing machine things. I can't remember what they are called at the moment. I was actually thinking of getting one myself. Sewing by hand sucks Lol.

OMG I NEED THAT. And no, I never found it. I cut two more panels and started over. You have a point though, this time I'll just loosely stitch it and try to fit her.

Yeah, I'm paranoid about this too (I pull a needle out of my heiney on average once a year, you'd think I'd learn to look before I sit down by now) but trust me when I say I have torn the house apart trying to find it. I flipped the mattress, undid all of my dresser drawers, even scrawled through the garbage! It is gone. I think it may have somehow got taken out with the trash, even though I couldn't find it there. Barring a black hole randomly appearing next to my sewing materials, there's just no other explanation as to how it vanished. Other than, you know, the diaper gremlins.

So now that I've got pattern figured out, I'm gonna try to tweak it a bit to see if I can't make it so that her oil gland won't be covered by the tail flaps. I'm not sure how, but if I can manage it I think it'll be super convenient for her.

I've NEVER been good at sewing, but once I caught the bug I can't stop! It's kinda fun putting my problem solving skills to use in trying to figure out how to tweak the pattern to make the garment fit the way I want. <3 I've got the feathered cap finished, now I'm working on the poofy shoulder pauldrons!

Oh, and the best part? I've gotten written consent from the Seattle convention hall to bring her in, so she'll be the belle of PAX and Emerald City Comic Con XD
