These chicks are just gorgeous, Wisher. I saw the little giant at TSC for $34.99 and I was mighty tempted ;-)

I mean.. I still -need- a few more to start my flock.. and there's -bound- to be boys that need to be sold. Right? I could just.. keep what I want. Pass on the rest... I know there's quite a few of BYC around me... Right?

I took a video of the chicks tonight. Vimeo is compiling it and I will post it when it is complete.

The last two hatched today so 13 total.

I cracked open the last 3 and 2 quit before lockdown and the third one quit before internal pip.

Great hatch! none were stuck, none shrink wrapped and they fluffed very quickly!

I will share two pictures but the video is amazing!





Vimeo says the conversion will start in 38 minutes!

Okay, that does it, I can't believe I don't have any of these chicks, myself! I'm setting some this weekend! Anyone else interested in some of these babies? I gathered 21 eggs last night from 27 hens. I should have enough to share. I also have some rich medium brown eggs that I haven't shipped many of. I think I sent some to Maine, but I know Ron and Bama1 didn't get any. I will have to hatch some of those so I can show them what they missed, right SCG?

I love this pic! That little one in the front with the baby stink eye is too cute and the blue on the right has such a pretty face. Of course, fluffy butt, in the center is showing of it's greatest asset.......
