I guess my boyfriend calls lunch dinner*, apparently I've been feeding him supper for lunch for the last 4 years.

Catsup on egg bap? Sure, if that’s your taste. Americans put all sorts of things on breakfast sandwiches — even when the bread is fresh made.

Gravy on chips... only in a very well made poutine, thank you. I prefer chili or ranch beans with cheese.

We have a chips and gravy poor boy here. Lots of people really like them. (French bread with French fries and beef gravy from cooked roast for the day)

Soda, not pop.

Fries with ketchup. No gravy, thank you. Although poutine could be an exception, I can't get it here.

Breakfast in the morning, lunch at midday, dinner in the evening.

There are rolls (small to eat with dinner), buns (for hamburgers and hot dogs), English muffins (with butter or jam), and bread.
