Good luck!! I tried one hatch of these (with 8 eggs) and didn't get any babies. I really hope your hatch goes better. I know I've read somewhere that they're Golden Lace based w/ something else...do you happen to remember the something else? Obviously it takes a lot of refining to get to this point, but I was just trying to think of what else it was they started with.

Okay, drumroll please. . . . . .




So first news is, I dropped a Tolbunt egg!!!! And CRACKED it!!!

Of all the eggs I've candled, a TOLBUNT egg!!!

Well the good news is, it was a quitter. . . And I mean quitter. I hardly even saw a yolk.


So how many eggs are fertile? . . . . . . .





5 out of 12 so far!!

And that isn't even definite. . . It's only ooh day 3.5, (yes I'm THAT impatient!!

) so I could possibly have more, but.. . Let's hope atleast that I get 5 healthy baby Tolbunts by May, and they grow up strong and happy.

Oh, I'm so glad you posted! I feel your pain on the dropped egg.. I'm sure your heart went in your throat and happy it was on a quitter.. (this is high emotion stuff here) especially when I figure out that each egg is worth $ 16.666667 (..not compulsive)...I have 9 with good air cells and eggs are rocking. Fri. is day 21....we will have babies that are related...... I REALLY hope yours hatch!!! Keep up the posts!!
