Congratulations! I'm still waiting on my day 21 Polish babies. I candled and they are all alive, so I wiat
I, too, have an expensive chick- a$68 Silkie.
Ya know, thats a lot of money for one chick but it happens to the best of us. It hasn't happened to me that bad yet. The most it's come out to is $35 a chick for Coronation splits but I'm not saying it never will because I just keep buying eggs. I feel it in my bones though that you have a pair there. You'll make your money back and just think about the enjoyment you will get from the eye candy. Also, just think if those SLB went through the xray machine!!! $900 for no chicks!!!!!

Hmm. . . . Now if only I had "spending" money right now.
Well, last night I gave it a shot at vent-sexing the chicks. I've done this with my last hatch as a first timer, then marked who I believe was male. To this day, the chicks are so far proving me right.
So, the verdict is. . . . . I have 1 boy, and 1 girl.
