About '75 I bought a used 1100 for $200 from a gun/bait shop.
I drove down the spillway levee and tried out. Jammed every shot!
I field striped it in the grass and the entire inside was caked with mud and swamp grass! A duck hunter must have dropped it out of his pirogue into the marsh.
I picked and shook the muck out and it never jammed again.

If the prices didn't give it away, the "Master CHARGE" did. My mom had a Master Charge, before the name was changed to Master Card.

Well I gave into the urge and just ordered a new rifle. Half of one anyway, lol. I bought a 458 socom bolt action upper from bear creek arsenal. Went with a bolt action for simplicity (no cycling issues/gas blow back) and reduced noise.

I plan on using it to shoot deer subsonic suppressed. Picked up some 500gr Maker Rexs loaded by black butterfly ammo to go with it too, at ~$4 per round . It won't be a plinker but should be very effective on deer and pigs. I plan on handloading for it in the future.

I was going to use my 450 bushmaster but the twist rate is 1:24 which is not great for stabilizing the very heavy bullets. 458 is 1:14 which is much faster. It ain't a Daniel Defense, but it was $217 shipped to my door, lol. I've been happy with my bear creek 450 so I hope this bolt action upper works out.
