Well, the first chick hasn't suffocated the zipper by sitting on the egg, so that's a plus... I can't tell how much progress has been made, because the egg has been rotated enough that, while I can see the beak and tell who is peeping, the length of the zip is hidden.

There's also a tiny pip in another Sulmtaler egg, too small to try to photograph. There's a slit in the membrane, too.
 
I like using a video of chicks chirping, my last hatch I used a YouTube video and the eggs stared rockin and rolling. I actually need to find a different one, since the one I was using got deleted. Is anything happening with Frieda?

Must have been the one I used too!!! I just went to find it and it was deleted by user...now I am sad!
