No. I think it would break my heart. I get way too attached to animals. That's why I refused to let my parents raise cows for meat. I take care of all of the animals on our farm, so I usually have a really close bond with all of them.

HYE hatched eggs in an incubator? If so, what breeds?

not a lot, usually the eggs go under our broody Silkie hens, Isabel (White Silkie) and Mystery (Black Silkie) and Pumpkin (buff-blue Silkie). The breeds we have hatched in our incubator include Seramas, Japenese, Rhode Islands, Scot's Dumpys (just one, a hen named Charlie), Cochins, Brahmas, and a lone Silver Grey Dorking Hen. If you look down in my siggy, you see the bar that says "Chick Countdown". Click it. The 18 eggs are split up evenly, 6 eggs per Silkie. (sorry for hi-jacking this thread
