I don't know that paint would do much but weaving some reflective material in places would likely work. It wouldn't need to be everywhere, just enough that it is obvious there is something horizontal there. Hawks have very good eyesight. I SUSPECT if they see the reflective stuff they will give the whole area a more careful look.Thinking cap is on... but must digest all the input and variables.
Spray paint the netting or some interspersed CD 's or foil. ..?
