the heat and humidity, when to give electrolytes

Hi, if my pullets are panting in the extremely hot, humid air, should I give them electrolytes? If so, what kind?

Yes by all means give it to them. I get mine at the farm store. It comes in a packet and you just mix it into their water.

You can.
I like to use electrolytes when the temp. get to or above 80 and the humidity is high.

Hmmm, the closest place is like an hour away, do you think there is a product I can get locally that might work? I wonder if people electrolytes and poultry electrolytes are the same thing? Do you think pedialyte might work? I can get that at CVS for now until I get to agway.
