At least we got some rain last night.

Yes... Yet another two edged sword for me. I still have 2 more days worth of Bush hogging and was hoping to finish by tomorrow evening. Pushed it hard yesterday and was on the tractor in the rain with headlights on until the storm got bad last night. But... The grass and garden needed it I suppose more than I needed to work today. Apparently it's God's way of making sure I take a day off. ;-)

I need to do some bush hogging but have to take the harrow off first. My DH has been out of state. When he came home he has had a wicked cold so the harrow is still on the tractor. It is nice when there is help to take it off and store it the way he wants it stored.

For the past 5 years, summer has been dry here. This summer it has been cooler and filled with rain. We spent money changing our pool filter system over to salt water. Yet the pool has had very little use. Still the water is nice and clear.

California born and raised here so the idea of having rain in the summer is just plain weird

We see zero from around May to October----dusty !

We have had so much rain in Kentucky, that chickens have grown webbed toes. Had another round last night for the 4th day in a row anyway, lost count, hail included last night. thinking about buying waterwings for the chickens.
