The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

“Where’s Chion going?” Noah asked. Seeing the strange badger creature sliding down the hill caused him to make the impulsive decision to slide on after her.
The little stones skittering down after him were painful, but it was an exciting ride. And breathing freely. It was something he all too often took for granted.
Noah slowed himself from whipping over a small cliff by digging his already dirty fingernails and toenails into the hill. He wandered after Chion happily.

Woah,” Cam said. Teleporting wasn’t so bad, or so different from those blue amulet stones. She’d imagined breaking up into little bits and reassembling somewhere else, but it was more like a roller coaster through the sky. She stumbled unsteadily. “Wait, we’re in the woods? Why are we in the woods? Did we even agree on where we’re going to reappear?”
(Going back in time to respond)
“Well we are relying on Local guy here to be our guide” Aria responded (and then fast forward to where she is now)

“I am under the assumption that I am to join you in this teleporting excursion?” Korim asked.
“Aria, in order to teleport me and Rylie, someone will likely need to hold us,” Kyle said. As much as he hated to admit it.
Carson stifled a laugh. He took a moment to even out his voice, then said "I can hold Rylie, I don't care." He paused, then added sarcastically, "I'm pretty good with animals."

Kevin nodded. “Okay, good,” he said, gently grabbing her tiny hand in his.
Great” Aria held her hand out for someone to grab. “Let’s go meet the others.” She looked at Korim, “dude we ligit rely on you, your our guide”

Chion, being the only one of the younger kids who understood Seina leaned over he edge looking for any easier path. Not seeing one, she stepped over the edge carefully, bending all four of her knees as she slid down the gravelly slope. Dust plumes stirred up behind her, and loosened stones hissed as they skittered down the hill. As the ground flattened out she hopped to keep her footing, Awkwardly coming to a stop before the next drop off. Thankfully neither of her two passengers had fallen off.

"Yeah, we are." Kipp answered his voice quiet and calm.

"We have to get out of sight first. There might be a place to hide further down hill." He said answering both Ashira, and Noah. It would have been nice to stop right now, but there was no way standing just outside the door was going to be safe. Even with Take inside the likelihood of him being able to hold off everyone who came was extremely low.

Kipp didn't know that there was a kid who was able to pull water from the air, so he stepped closer to Fred. "You can hang on to me." He said, holding his one arm up. "Maybe you should hold on to the sword though." He was too tired to care that the two of them weren't getting along. The only thing in his mind was that they had to get out of there, as quickly and safely as they could, together.
“Yeah. Let’s get as far away as we can.” She shook her head like a wet dog to clear it and looked up.

“Thank you,” Kyle said. “Just pick him up, please. Wait, will you be needing to hold Buck as well, or will you be holding his paw?”

“That is not exactly what I was implying with that question, but oh well,” Korim said, reaching for Aria’s? hand.

Aria took it her eyes scanning the group of people all forming a circle, she could feel her energy being strained

“Thanks” Fred took the sword using it as a sort of crutch. “Let’s get out of here”.
Kipp hobbled over closer to the edge, Emma in one arm, and Fred hanging on to his other. He frowned down at the people who'd already made it to the bottom. Surprised by the squirming in his belly at the thought of stepping over the edge. He tried to shake off the feeling stepping one foot out and trying out weight on it. The gravel instantly gave under him, sending a cascade of tiny pebbles bouncing downward, as he pulled his foot back to reconsider how he'd get the three of them down the hill. He couldn't remember a time that his wings wouldn't hold him if things went wrong. And now here he was practically on the edge of a cliff and had to get not only himself, but two others down safely.

(Still Kipp) Watching Noah easily step out and slide down the hill didn't make him feel any better. But Chion and the three kids were now headed down the next hill without them. They had to keep going or get left behind.
"You ready?" He asked Fred a nervous timbre in his voice.

Seina looked on with confusion, she didn't know what anyone was saying but for they seemed to understand how to get down so it wasn't too bad. She took Elon's hand him being the last kid at the top of the hill, and smiled at him. She wasn't sure what language he spoke, so she swung her head toward the slope indicating what she intended to do. Then carefully stepped over the edge, helping him down beside her before stepping down with her other foot and sliding down the hill mostly seated.

Chion looked at their surroundings curiously, what she had initially thought were rocky outcroppings were in actuality piles of old bones. None of the creatures were recognizable for what they had once been, most having been eaten clean by predators.

She wandered closer to one of the more recent looking dead things to get a better look at what it was, baring her large square teeth in disgust. It didn't look like anything she recognized.

She looked away from it, searching for something else. There was no way they'd be hiding under a pile of dead bodies for the night. She snorted, acknowledging Noah's presence, as she continued to search the area for some other place to go. Following a trail of matted grass down along a sheer cliff face. Maybe there would be a place down here where they could find shelter.

Elon normally would have refused to go, but he had learned to trust these kids. They would take him home. He sat beside her and they slid down the slope.

Noah walked beside the strange Chion creature. He knew she couldn’t understand him, but the kids beside her could, and his stomach was flopping and empty.
He just wanted to complain.
“I’m hungry,” he mourned. Then he spotted the bones. “What are those?” he asked.
He studied one of the skeletons, trying to identify it. A mountain goat, probably. They were in the mountains and it was the size of a goat.
“I think that’s a mountain goat,” he decided. “Where are we going? Is there a way to get home?”
