The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

The group came to the forest edge just as rain began to fall from the sky in torrents. Cam sighed and leaned against a tree, shifting the weight of her pack. “Now what?” she asked.
“It’s dry under the trees, due to the density of the canopy. However, this is the Papercutter Forest; it will get dark soon.” It already seemed pretty dark due to the brewing sky, which Korim could finally see if he stepped out from beneath the canopy.

Fred shrugged “if anything my brothers bully me more but now I don’t have to see them. I can lock myself in my room”

Kipp fell silent, he'd been trying to find some way to make Fred feel better, not worse. Going home was something he wanted to believe was a good thing, but in reality it was close to the same. Having familiar people, with understood expectations was a lot easier to deal with than the people here who couldn't speak the same language.

"At least they don't use whips." He said, trying for any kind of humor he could come up with.

Ashira knelt down in front of the crying faun. “It’s alright. I’ve been down this hill before. I won’t let you fall.”
(Weird... I know I wrote something. I thought I responded, but I don't see it here.)

She looked up at her with big tear filled eyes and a dramatic pout. She wasn't used to people being nice to her.
"I wanna go home." She sobbed turning her face to the sky and wailing loudly.

“Makes sense... that’s why you don’t sleep a lot huh? And you usually end up texting me.” Take murmured, listening closely to her words. I would hate to have the demon constantly yelling and annoying the hell out of me.. he wouldn’t waste a single second. He decided to share what he thought of the wolf “I imagine her like your wolf form.. but completely black and her eyes are basically all that you’re able to see.” He kept himself and Blair near the treeline as they traveled the hills, remembering Ashiras words about Kipp and the others being on the edge of a forest and down a hill. They were probably long gone, but he hoped Blair could pick up something that wasn’t washed away.
"Yeah...there's not much else to do at three in the morning." Blair murmured, laughing softly. She thought about what he said, how he imagined the wolf, while she searched for scents. "Maybe. I don't know. I don't think she wants me to know, either." She shrugged.

(Don’t worry about it)
“So do I,” she sympathized. “We all do. We have to do this to get there, though. We have to get away from this place first.”

“Actually there’s a lot to do at three in the morning... if you do it right.”
They eventually reached the top of a hill with a steep decline, and the only way down was sliding through the mud to get to the bottom. At this point, Take didn’t care if he got muddy again, his shoes and the lower part of his pants were ruined by them, so why not make everything even? He lowered himself to the ground, getting ready to slide down until he suddenly spun himself so that he would slide down backwards. He looked up at Blair, grinning. “Well this should be fun”

Fred laughed “yeah.”

Kipp glanced at the other two kids who were walking through the forest with them. They both looked extremely tired, but weren't falling behind, or complaining. They were going to have to stop soon, and now that the rain had eased off a little it wasn't entirely impossible for them to sleep in the open. Though they needed to get further from the Dakrium.
"Do you think we should head further into the forest, or keep going down to the river?" He wasn't sure the others would have headed down hill. The river was smart if they were looking for something to drink, but they had no idea what was on this planet, for all they knew it could be swarming with elephant sized crocodiles, and Chion would never go there.

The little girl nodded still crying audibly, and grabbed a fistful of Ashira's torn dress.

"My house is full of sleeping people, Take. Besides, I'd rather talk to you."
After they reached the hill, Blair frowned at the idea of sliding down the hill. She looked down at herself, seeing her leggings were already stained with mud, but not too far gone she couldn't save them. However, the slide down would most likely ruin them. "I spent thirty five bucks on these leggings. I don't want to ruin them." She complained, lowering herself to the ground anyway. "But I don't want to sprain an ankle, either, so..."

She took the girl’s hand and began to help her down the hill.
