The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

"Huh?" Grafe gave her a confused wide eyed look, then darted his eyes around the hill side and wall of trees. "I don't know which way to go. Seina might have wanted to go to the river, but then, that's where they'd expect us to go isn't it? She'd probably head west." He said, frowning up at the dark sky unsure which way west was. "If the hill weren't so steep and slippery I could just run down to the river and back, and tell you if they were down there. But..." He gestured toward the slicked down muddy grass, and red rocky cliffs.
“Wait,” she protested. “I can’t hear anything from in there. Besides, I don’t think Kipp would have gone in the forest. They all wanted to get to the river, which is that way.” She turned and pointed down the rest of the bank. “I think we should go there.”

“We were just debating over where we should go. I think we should look for them at the river, Take thinks we should look in the forest. What do you think? You can be the final vote.”
Take stopped in his tracks and spun around to face the group. He was able to agree on the unable to hear anything part, no one was replying to him and he couldn’t hear anything but the rain pattering on the leaves up above and the footsteps of the group. He glared at Ashira, “C’mon, you could’ve brought this river stuff up earlier.” he huffed, looking in the direction that she pointed in. He didn’t know what she and the dirty-blonde haired guy were talking about, and he didn’t care as he started in the new direction. “If they’re not there I’m gonna throw you in the river myself.” He threatened harshly at Ashira as he trudged passed her and towards the river bank.

“Hey, if they’re not there, at least we’ll have something to drink,” she shot back as they made their way down the slippery slope.
”We’re going to the river, Grafe. I think I can hear something from there!”
Ashira brightened. “I can hear something! They’re thinking about... I don’t know.. it’s hard in this storm. I can hear the storm from their perspective, too, since they’re thinking about it. But I know they’re close.” She raised her voice as loud as she could, hoping the wind wouldn’t carry her voice away. “Kipp! Seina! Are you guys there?” “Can you hear me?”

“Yeah you’ll have something to drink...” he muttered.
Take slid himself down each steep hill and cliff they came upon. He didn’t quite understand how Ashira was able to hear the kids, he was completely oblivious to her abilities. Is she like.. a mind reader or something?

“Yeah,” she said in answer to his thoughts, not realizing that they were thoughts and not spoken out loud.

He nodded and kept pace with them, carefully making his way down the hill.

Kevin gave her a sideways glance as they walked, noticing a sort of sad tone in her voice. “...Was it May?” He asked, hoping to know more about Lilith and the people she was close to. “You don’t have to answer that, of course.” He added.
Kevin chuckled, following her gaze back up. “Or worse, acid rain. Everything else in this forest has been dangerous, so who knows how bad the rain will be.” He said, subconsciously adjusting his chicken-carrier to cover the birds more.
Lilith nodded after a moment, a thoughtful look on her face. "Yeah, it was. She loved plants and ecosystems. Studying them and seeing how they worked. Me and Kylan have always been more into our own respective art forms." She answered, before smirking at his next comment. "Oh yeah, all we need is hell from heaven." She joked, hand gripping Tru's leash and her camera.
She paused for a moment, sensing for the others. She could tell they were heading diagonally from them, seemingly heading away from the forest's heart. "The others are heading towards the mountains." She updated him, glancing over towards his face-- Realizing he was the only person she really knew who she had to look up to.
The group came to the forest edge just as rain began to fall from the sky in torrents. Cam sighed and leaned against a tree, shifting the weight of her pack. “Now what?” she asked.
“It’s dry under the trees, due to the density of the canopy. However, this is the Papercutter Forest; it will get dark soon.” It already seemed pretty dark due to the brewing sky, which Korim could finally see if he stepped out from beneath the canopy.
“Eh. It’s ok I guess, it’s been better. You okay to take the lead Kipp?” He asked

Aria peered at him “so what are we better off doing?” She asked impatiently she was loosing patience and fighting the urges to leave the group and go search on her own. It would be easier that was for sure. She looked at Kylan then at Lilith and then she turned her glance to Kevin trying to imagine what was going through each of their minds in turn. Aria sighed turning her thoughts to her home, her parents would flip if they saw her with mud and dirt on her. They were such clean freaks her mother would probably have a panic attack at the sight of her daughter with scratches and mud coating her. “What I wouldn’t give for a nice hot shower” she muttered under her breath.
“I’d rather dragons over getting turned young again” Aria added
“Well, that particular event isn’t going to happen again,” Korim pointed out.
I’m neutral. If we stay in the forest, nothing will happen to me and Rylie. But it might be hard trying to figure out how to defend the kids. But then again, I don’t like getting rained on, Kyle thought. Okay, that was a ridiculous reason. Rain against getting ambushed by arboreal monsters? (He too quickly forgot about the dragons.)
“I think we can all handle a little rain,” Kyle pointed out. “We should go into the mountains.”
“Yeah, you have no idea what it’s like here at night,” Cam added.
Korim didn’t like that a bunch of strangers thought they knew more about his home than he did. “Fine, we may go into the mountains,” he said. “However, if we encounter a dragon, I wish to speak with it first,” he added diplomatically.
Kylan kept quiet, not sure what he thought of all this. So we may have to face aggressive dragons now and pray they actually aren't there? Nice. It made him nervous, definitely, and he didn't like how reluctant Korim seemed at first-- He was from here, and if he thought it was dangerous, it could well be a bad idea to go there.
Aria shivered it was summer where she was so she was in a t’shirt and shorts. If she had of known she was going hiking through a dangerous forest she would have bought a jacket. She slipped landing hard on her knees
Kylan automatically slid down into a crouch beside her, placing each of his hands on her shoulders and helping her up. A worried look crossed his face, sympathy running through him. He had a crewneck sweatshirt, jeans, and boots on and was still feeling the effects of the freezing rain; she had to be chilled to the bone. "Hey, hey, you okay?"

Seina had made herself as comfortable as she could, leaning against the wall in the cave. She pulled the soggy bread out of her shirt, untying the knot and stacking them on the cave floor. So much for having food. She thought, frowning at the squished barely recognizable bread. she gestured sleepily to the three kids inviting them to come and lay against her to sleep, and leaned her head back closing her eyes.

“Hey, if they’re not there, at least we’ll have something to drink,” she shot back as they made their way down the slippery slope.

Chion's long ears pricked up, catching a faint voice echoing through the wind, but it was drowned out with a flash of lightning and growling thunder. The rain had lessened a bit, but the wind still threw what was falling in hissing sheets across the ground. She'd rather not go out in that investigating a possible noise if she didn't have to. She laid her long jaw on top of her furry paws, watching the storm through the mouth of the cave.

“Hello? Can anyone out there hear me? Kipp? Seina? Chion?”
