“He thinks that Olim is building an army to take over Earth.” Korim explained.
Korim then realized that it was likely Seina didn’t know who Kyle was or where he came from. But all he could say was “He is? That is insane!” Korim had thought Kyle’s idea about Olim taking over Earth was far-fetched, even if it did explain why the portals had shown up. Still, if Earth was filled with people like these teenagers, he wouldn’t even go so far as to think about exploiting its resources. “These people are from Earth. The children you rescued are also from Earth. They came through portals from different parts of the world and popped out in the Laefeslay. These teenagers followed them in and have come to rescue them, though I see they’ve figured that out on their own. I know this sounds insane but I have yet to hear variance in the story, so I believe that it must be true.”Siena eyed Kyle intrigued by the fact that a little person would have any interest in a whole other planet.

Kit squirmed out of Blair's grasp, dashing to Take. She jumped around him, barking loudly, excited to see him. Despite the fact she was exhausted and throughly soaked, she was ecstatic to see one of her favorite people.Take’s snack didn’t last very long and wasn’t enough to fill him, but he was glad to have at least eaten something. He could’ve eaten more than his share, but he considered there was plenty of kids hungrier than him. He returned over to the heaps of treasure and plopped down. Never in his life would he have thought he would be laying on gold riches, precious metals, and jewels that would belong to a royal. Who puts an entire fortune in a completely random cave out here? Take gazed about until his eyes fell on Blair and what looked like a muddy blob with four legs. He sat up quickly, eyes widened and mouth gaped. “Is that who I think it is...?” he said in disbelief, trying to identify the border collie under all the sludgy mud. His arms spread out, beaming as he yelled out “Vien Kit!”
“Wait, silver?” Korim asked, grabbing the coin. It was dark in the cave now, due to the fact that Kylan was embracing his little brother. “That’s real cool,” he said. “Sorry you got burnt though,” he glanced at Blair.Kit squirmed out of Blair's grasp, dashing to Take. Blair had picked Emma back up, holding the half asleep girl tightly, gazing around in absolute awe. "This is insane..." she breathed, staring as the mounded piles of riches. Jewels fit for kings and queens and enough gold and silver to support a few lifetimes. Balancing Emma on one hip, she bent and picked up what looked like a silver coin, and instantly regretted it. She muffled a yelp as it burned her, worse then a normal burn, causing her to throw it back into the pile. She shook her hand, biting her lip. "I forget that silver burns," she muttered in a strained voice.
"I get what you mean." Ciro couldn't deny being wholly entranced by her unintentional light show, and it was hard for him to keep his words coming smoothly. It'd be a long while before he grew accustomed enough to her ability to remain unfazed by it- any of theirs, honestly. "They're entirely different beasts. Even compared to this guy." His persistent grin contorted into a guilty frown, expressing his feelings over the potential of having repeatedly misgendered his lupine companion. "Or girl." He apologetically patted the head of the humbled creature that now sightlessly leaned against his leg, which earned him a halfhearted growl. He'd put his debilitating burden down once the dragon had been dealt with, and since then, they'd developed a lopsided, yet semi-working system of locomotion where Ciro took a step and then gently encouraged the wolf to replicate his action by coaxing it forward with his nearest arm and remaining leg.Aella, rather put out by how ignorant Korim was to her fiery display, scowled at Kylan's sparking hands. She was watching the light dance across the piles of golden, silver and red, illuminating the many different colors and hues. It cast strange shadows that crawled along the harsh, rock walls of the cave, looming and swaying.
At Ciro's voice, she turned, greeting him with a grin. People came and went constantly in her life, and she expected nothing less of him, no matter how kind he was. Very few stayed. She wanted his company, wanted the friendship of someone who was so similar even with the vast difference between, but didn't dare approach him during the past few days. However, his appearance clearly made her happy, if her grin and the sudden brightness of the flames on her hands and arms were any indication.
"I never thought dragons existed," she tossed a flame around from palm to palm, occasionally glancing at it. "I mean, I guess it's not that hard to grasp, considering werewolves and vampires and stuff exists." She held up the flame, as if to make a point. "Dragons, though...they're something you see in books and movies, not real life."
Noah sat up from his gold-angels, noting a hulking beast in the gloom beside Ciro, pale eyes glowing."I get what you mean." Then again, they'd only moved maybe ten feet.
Still, it was progress and a definite improvement from killing his arms.
Take watched gleefully as Kit ran about him, pleased to see that the canine was finally reunited with Blair and himself. He didn’t exactly have a pet of his own, so this was the closest thing to it. He reached out and grabbed Kit, hugging her close without the care of getting muddy himself and smelling like wet dog. “You’re like a muddy pig” he smirked, letting her go and wiping some collected mud off her head. He turned his attention to Blair after hearing her harsh reaction to apparently something silver. “You good?” he asked, getting up and coming over to her to observe her scalding.Kit squirmed out of Blair's grasp, dashing to Take. “Oh. Well there’s loads of it out there,” Cam waved vaguely at the downpour outside. “Care for a little shower?” she asked, a crooked smile crossing her face.
“I’ll be fine” Fred rolled his eyes back at him “I can always get something for my back when I get home”.Spotting the growing pile of sleeping children Kipp moved to set the little girl down next to Grafe.
Rolling his eyes at Fred's response. "You joking right? You had a fever this morning. Go track down that big Russian guy and get him to patch you up before you die."
“I’m fine. Seriously” Fred said brushing off their concern“Fever?” Cam echoed. “That doesn’t sound like something water can fix.” She stared Fred down. “You need medical attention ASAP.”
“Okay then...” Korim said, pocketing the silver coin for safe-keeping. Could use it for threats later.
