The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

“According to them, there’s games in the laundry room.” Charlie said brightly, pointing at the attic for added effect.

Charlie watched the dark square of attic above them. He heard a scream and squinted his eyes even more to try and see what was going on up there. There’s probably a bunch of antiques up there. Or family albums. Or washing machines. Or maybe... ghosts? He had noticed that the general layout of Kevin’s house was very old fashioned. A perfect ghost habitat. He’s like a Russian farmer from the 1800’s. Actually, that’s exactly what he is. Except for being in the 1800’s. When Fred reappeared, Charlie looked at him expectantly. “Did you see a ghost? This type of house is very likely to be haunted.”

(That is an absolutely fabulous description. :clap

But... it was never specified that Kevin had a wife. :D)
(But Fred doesn't have to know that. :D )

"There's no ghosts." He didn't like the whole idea of ghosts wandering around, even having run into that "dead" girl back in September he hadn't been convinced that she was really a ghost. "Why are you trying to freak him out?"

(I never said he did. I said Fred thought he did, thanks though)

“No ghosts just a” Fred went a little red “a creepy doll”
Kipp looked up at Fred giving him a confused concerned look.
"All Kevin has in his sealed attic is a creepy doll?" He glanced at Charlie, and Cam, now preferring the idea of the house being haunted. At least that would mean Kevin hadn't lured them all to his house to chop them up and feed them to his animals or something.
Kipp shook his head chasing away his wild thoughts. Kevin was just Kevin. He wasn't going to do anything bad to any of them, the doll was probably just forgotten there before the attic was closed off. That made far more sense.

“And a heap of baby stuff.” Fred added “look at this. I think Kevin is married, or was married but whoever he is with is the mother of his child. Which would explain why there is a cot, a doll, and a pram and heaps of other things up there”. Fred grinned brandishing the picture so they could see.

“And I am going to go tell him there is a chance his child has already been born. He needs to get in touch with the girl and see his kid” Fred said pocketing they photo after giving them a chance to look. “I’m going to go find Kevin” said Fred determined

"Uuuhhh, you think so?" Kipp asked, he could come up with a few other reasons why that stuff would be up there. Of course talking to Kevin at all would mean admitting to cutting into his house and invading his privacy. "Maybe check for games before you come back down?" Kevin was going to be pissed. They could clean up the mess in the hallway and pretend it didnt happen at all, if he could convince Fred to not say anything.

“Okay” Fred nodded

Blair had been minding her own business, when a scream caught her attention. She tilted her head up, looking up the stairs. No one else seemed to hear it, but she certainly did. She slid off the stool and made her way up the stairs.
Instantly, dust caused her to sneeze as she approached the top of the stairs. There began her first suspicion. And the paint chips scattered on the floor wasn't exactly normal. "Is everyone ok– What are you doing?" Her gaze was drawn not to the people standing there, but instead to the knife laying amongst the scattering of paint chips and the gaping hole in the ceiling.
She immediately turned her gaze to Kipp, who before she always assumed was the most responsible out of the ones gathered. "What the hell are you doing?"
