The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Kipp smiled at his enthusiasm. He really should tell some one, or leave a note, but he didn't have any paper and the only others in the room (that I'm aware of) we're Colby who was still asleep. And Cam who was on the phone. And there was no way he was going back upstairs.

"Alright." He said standing up and following Noah to the door. "I have one rule. Don't mess with my wings while were in the air. Aside from that..." He looked up as they went through the door, trying to thinknof anything else he should know. "I'm not gonna let you fall... Unless you want to. I guess I mean, I wont let you crash. So, if you want to I suppose you could... " he waved at Ciro, and Aella as they walked past. That should do for letting some one know that he was taking Noah.

"Pobably the best way is to piggy back... You don't throw up on roller coasters right?"
“No, okay!” Noah definitely didn’t want to fall, and would hold on as best he could. “Now? Do we do it here?”

Kipp nodded crouching down so he could get on.
Noah crawled beneath the feathers. They were soft and tickled his skin. He reached his arms over Kipp’s shoulders and wrapped his legs around his waist like an adventure backpack, like Cam told him to. He probably would have ridden Kipp before if his wings hadn’t been cut short.
“Let’s go!” Noah exclaimed, his voice high with excitement.

Kipp launched himself into the air, beating his wings hard to pull them into the air. Despite the sour squirming in his stomach, Noah's infectious excitement was drawing a smile across his face too. Kids were so much easier to get along with than adults.

As they climbed higher above the trees the surrounding farmland became a lot more obvious, large squares of open land broken up with the occasional wooded area, or sudden out cropping of crowded houses. Over all it looked significantly different from home. It was so terribly flat everywhere. And as they went even higher it made the tall buildings in the distance even more prominent. They were quite close to a city, though you'd never be able to tell from the ground. Kevin's home could have been in the absolute middle of nowhere, if you'd based your guess on what you could see from the ground.

Noah squealed as he was lifted from the ground and gripped Kipp even tighter.
The wind blew his dark bangs out of his eyes as they jerked upward suddenly. The feeling of flying was so exhilarating. It was also quite what he had always expected. It was like turning freedom into an action. Flying was freedom.
He peered over Kipp’s head at the dizzyingly far ground. At first he had had the instinct to fear falling, but the ground seemed so far away that it could never be a real threat to him. Also, Kipp’s strong presence emboldened him. Kipp wouldn’t let him fall.
The trees and ground were so far away, like when he had flown in an airplane. So far away, like he didn’t belong to the world or it’s troubles, like he could escape it all. Like he lived in that world but didn’t belong in it.
None of the fields and trees beneath them were green yet. Not like Kevin’s yard. Not like Borealis. It must be April then. Until now, Noah hadn’t been quite sure of the season.
Farther off, there was a city. “What city is that?” Noah asked. He needed to know more about communist Russia, so they could accept him as a fellow communist.

Lost in his own thoughts Kipp had barely heard him over the rushing wind.
"I don't know." He answered raising his voice so Noah could hear him. "You'll have to ask Kevin." Even if he'd paid any attention in class, recognizing a city from the air wasn't something he could do. Especially one he'd never been to before. "Now that we're up, do you wanna fly?"

"Me... fly?" Confusion and excitement battled for dominance over Noah's chirpy voice. Confusion managed to win out. Noah realized Kipp probably couldn't hear him over the wind. "Do you want me to flap your wings?"

"What? No. No no. Don't touch my wings." He said quickly trying not to sound as anxious as he was about the possiblity. "Getting up here's the hard part. Staying is fine, but the best part is going down. If you want, you can let go. If you don't we can go down like this." He'd never tried diving while carrying someone before, of course hecd never tried flying with someone else before. Thankfully Noah wasn't that heavy, he'd just have to alter his dive a bit so it wasn't as steep and they'd be fine.

Fred began to hand pick the chips out the carpet (if it’s not carpeted let me know and I will edit). He was so so mad at Kipp, what a friend! Who did Kip think he was? It was him too so why wasn’t he here helping him? Fred pulled a face trying not to look too sulky.

“Let go?” Noah squeaked. “No! Let’s go back down.” He pulled himself closer to Kipp, ready for whatever trick he had next.
