The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

(Sorry this took so long. I got busy, and now, I'm half asleep. XD I'll try to make sense.)
"Physics? Wow, you must be pretty smart then." Her sentence was followed by a loud shriek echoing through the trees. She stopped to look back and try to see through the gloom, if there was anything there.

Juliana's eyes widened in fear, she couldn't see what it was but there was definitely something there. "Bane, I think there's something back there."
(It’s fine, don’t worry about it, I can definitely relate XD)

Bane’s mouth was halfway open in response as the ear splitting cry pierced the silence. He instinctively removed his ring, brushing his index finger over the symbols etched into the inner side of the metal, a moment later gripping a long metal sword in his right hand. In all honesty, he had no idea what he was doing or what he could possibly be up against, but refrained from admitting that to himself, for now at least, so he could savor his precious few moments of feeling in control. This place was making him feel strangely energetic and jumpy, almost like ADHD, but on steroids. He was also acutely aware of the fact that his power held a greater presence here than he’d ever felt before. There seemed only one logical thing to do in order for him to have the advantage if something were to attack. “We need to find a water source,” he said at last.

Fred’s hands went to his head in surprise. “Owwww Heey it’s me you idiot” Fred said rubbing his head where he had been clobbered to the ground. “But I should have come over and said hi instead of expecting you to”
Kipp tried to smile at Fred but his eyes kept darting back to the trees.
"Don't worry about it." Kipp once again was staring straight out into the trees, the coyote-elephant looking thing that he'd been watching had edged closer while he was distracted. Thankfully it took after the coyote in size, but the long tusks in combination with sharp teeth were concerning.

"H-hey, Take?" He called trying not to sound concerned. He didn't need this thing thinking he was scared. "There aren't that many of us that can see in the dark. We need to get everyone closer together."

"Did you fall through a door?" The ginger rudely shoved Blair out of the way, eyes lighting up as she interrogated the man. Blair looked at the cougar, raising a brow, but didn't say anything, for it just sat there quietly.
"Oh, maybe you got grabbed by aliens? Could have happened, I mean..."

Aella's voice slowly faded into the rest of the inane chatter in the background as Blair slowly retreated into the back of the group while they interrogated the guy. A creature scuttled by her feet, pausing momentarily. It was mouse like, with enlarged beady eyes and what appeared to be wings. And it was massive, grayish brown and moving oddly before it dashed away, vanishing.
She grimaced, deeply disturbed by the sight of the creature. She watched it leave, continuing on her way without looking where she was going and ran smack dab into Take's chest. "Sorry!" She gasped out, looking up at him, taking a step back. "This place is really weird. I don't like it at all."
Take gazed down at Blair wide eyed when he felt her bump into him, though it softened, smiling a little at her clumsiness. “No worries” He reached up and scratched the peach fuzz on his chin, frowning a little, “Yeah me too... this place is way too bizarre for me” he admitted.

(Oops just saw this, I’ll reply)

Jewels glanced back at him nervously, what ever she'd seen had suddenly disappeared, either it was really fast or, maybe she hadn't seen anything. "I haven't seen any water yet. I have spray paint, would that work? It's wet." She brushed her open hoodie back away from her hip to show him the 3 cans stuck in her belt.

Take looked over everyone’s heads when he heard his name called by Kipp, “Alright, go to the right side of the group, and I’ll go to the left. Remember? Like how we did it back in the forest that tried to kill us?” he explained loudly to Kipp.

Kipp stared unblinking, at the weird creatures scampering around them. Calling for the missing kids had been the wrong call. It was attracting everything near by. He didn't dare take his eyes off them. He had to be ready to react if they decided to attack.

Kipp jumped automattically clobbering Fred over the head with a wing and knocking him to the ground.

"Fred!? Don't DO that!" He hissed, "Sorry. You scared me." He said offering him a hand back up. "Are you ok?" Kipps ears twitched listening for movement, he had only half his attention on Fred. "You don't have to apologize. You're right, I shouldn't have ignored you."
Haddoe squawked in surprise as Kipp jumped up, knocking her onto the ground. As she fell, the scent of a predator filled her nose. ****, a cougar. Disgruntled at having being so rudely awakened, Haddie shifted into a cougar mid fall, fell on her back, let out another stream of curses(she normally had an impeccable filter, but not when she was an animal, since Maria couldn't understand and pick up her foul language), rolled over and bolted towards the big cat, butting people on her way aside, gently but firmly. Rylie seemed to be attempting conversation-his body was in a tense defensive position. The housecat was understandably terrified. She stared at the cougar-and the man with him. By their stance, it was clear they trusted each other implicitly. She stared at the big cat. What are your intentions? I may not look like much, but I will destroy you and your friend if you even think about harming one of these humans... or the cat.

He was pretty close to the right side anyway.
"Ok. Hey, Fred? Could you do something for me? I need everybody together. Pretty much everyone is over there anyway." He said pointing toward the new guy. "Could you get the rest to head over that way, but stay between me, Blair, and Take."

“Sure” came Freds reply. “ALRIGHT EVERYONE. I NEED YOU TO STAY TOGETHER, IF YOU DO NOT THERE IS A HIGH CHANCE YOU WILL GET EATEN. DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR.” Fred’s shrill voice bounces off the trees. “Kipp, Fred, Take, Blair what’s happening-“ Ellie stopped mid sentence spotting the creepy creatures behind them. “Do you need me to help hold them off?” She offered “my lasers can create a wall for a short amount of time”

"I thought I've seen some weird things. But nothing compares to this." Blair murmured, looking into the darkness. She flinched when something moved in the shadows, dark colored so she couldn't really tell what it was, but it was massive and had a mix of fur and feathers.

Blair looked up at Take, distracting herself from the creatures in the forest. "Right. Not everyone can see." She reminded herself under her breath, stretching up to peer around the group.

Blair winced as Fred's shrill voice echoed off the trees, making her ears ache. "Nobody is going to get eaten." She spoke loud enough for everyone to hear her, but kept her voice calm. "Kipper, Take and I are going to help get you through the forest since it's dark. But just stay calm, okay? The creatures are strange looking, yes, but they don't seem to be causing any problems just yet, so just ignore them."
She gave Take's hand a gentle squeeze before she moved past him, trying to keep herself as calm as possible. She was uneasy, but she hoped if she acted and spoke calmly, the others would too.
