The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

“Over there” Ellie pointed at Cam

Kevin walked over to Cam, kneeling besides her and Kipp. “Hey. Your ribs are broken, correct?” He asked, feeling her lower rib cage. “Actually, you probably shouldn’t answer that.” He closed his eyes. Her rib only had a minor crack and he was able to heal it successfully. He moved to her shoulder, doing his best to heal that, too.
He leaned back, his eyes staying closed. By now his energy was starting to drain, but he knew there were more people that needed to be healed. “Who next?” Kevin murmured.

Kevin looked down at Ellie. The amount of injured people that needed help was overwhelming. It felt like as soon as he was done healing someone, two more people needed to be healed. “Er, yes, of course. How bad is it?” He asked, staying by Blair and Take.

“I don’t think so. But she has broken ribs and a very bad wound on her arm”

Kipp, sighed, leaving to go get the med kit on his own was probably a bad idea. Right now he had to stick around and help where he could.

He wandered back in Kyles direction, spotting Cam laying on the ground. He went over to her setting his bag down next to her.

"Hey, you ok?" He asked gently, he could see she was bleeding. "How bad is it?"
In reply to everyone's questions... "My arm is fine, at least for now. The broken ribs are probably more important. I can at least still walk with a bad arm. Not that its impossible with the ribs, of course, but it kinda really hurts."
Kyle looked her over. "She's probably right about those ribs, and the shoulder appears to be dislocated. Also some ripped muscle fibers. A sling would help to prevent it from moving, and we can probably set that arm, though most people cause more harm than good. The arm is something I can give a temporary fix, hopefully, you can look it over later." He directed most of his advice at Kevin.

Blair glanced at Kevin, and nodded. "Thank you. And I will." She smiled at him slightly. It didn't hurt nearly as much, and the claw marks along her back and ribs wouldn't do much except cause discomfort.
She looked up at Take, but didn't say anything, only gave a slight nod. She gave his arm a squeeze before letting go, and heading towards the group, her steps a little more steady then before

Blair's gaze fell upon Cam, Kipp and Kyle, and instantly went over to them. She tried to wipe some of the blood from her face, knowing she probably looked like she was insane, but it didn't really work. "Is everything okay?" She asked upon approaching them, but the sight of blood told her that no, everything wasn't okay. "Can I do anything?"

Kipp flinched away from the giant Russian that dropped down next to him. Watching him in annoyance from the corner of his eye. Personal space dude, it's a thing. He growled in his head, turning his attention back to Cam when she started speaking. Cam jumped in pain at Kevin's touch, but didn't say anything. Kipp pursed his lips annoyed with this guy already. She just said it hurt. You didn't have to do that.

"Hmh." Kipp got up, intending to go check on Fred, but his eyes fell on Haddie who was leaning against a nearby tree her arms hooked over a couple of branches. She was covered in blood, and her head was hanging down. "Haddie? Are you alright?" He asked he didn't remember her leaving his shoulder, and hoped he hadn't flung her off when he'd jump in the air.

"Do you have something that would make a good sling?" Kyle asked aloud. Cam's outside shoulder wound was healed, but the dislocated arm was not, and he did not think he could find anyone skilled enough to erm... relocate it.

Blair took a step back, watching Kevin heal Cam. She felt utterly useless; she could wrap or stitch up a wound pretty good if she had to, eventually learning how to after so many injuries during full moons, but compared to a healer, she was rather useless.
She was made to track and fight, not heal the wounded. It made a knot of guilt wrap itself around her, cuddling her in its cold, unwelcoming embrace. That alongside the fact that Kipp and Kyle had flat out ignored her question, and frankly her all together, made her take another step back. Of course, she knew the others needed tending to, but a simple yes or no would have sufficed.
She didn't sit with the rest of the group, sitting in the middle of the path, keeping watch with Kit beside her, who had escaped the fight unscathed.

Haddie shifted in her sleep. Except she didn’t. She opened her eyes and looked down at her body, which seemed to be lowering. Or maybe she was just rising. After a brief moment of observation, she decided the latter was the case. Perhaps she should have been afraid. At this point in the day, however, Haddie had witnessed enough crap to be no more than slightly discomfited at this turn of events. She watched, still too tired to feel much, as the landscape of the godforsaken world swept by beneath her. She scrunched her face as she was brought to a clearing. She swiftly descended. She was standing in front of a skinny boy, with shaggy blackish-red hair. He was standing with his eyes closed. Strangely, she could still see his eyes. He was staring right at her. She stood there and stared right back.
“See the shimmer there?” the boy said, turning his head slightly to his left. “She’s right there. That’s where I brought her.” Haddie heard a mumbling coming from his left. “I don’t know exactly. Somewhere in the woods.” A vision of the place Haddie had lain flashed around her. He turned his head back to her, tilting it slightly. The wolf attack began replaying graphically. “She’s seen direwolves, she and-” he scrunched his nose, concentrating. “-she and her pack. I don’t know how she survived.” He peered at her, searching for something, when she heard the mumbling again, and he looked away a little bit, his concentration boken. “I don’t know. Where do you think?” This time the voice was less muffled, and Haddie gasped, searching for the face she knew so well.
“Oh, send her somewhere nice, please, Queros.” a plaintive voice broke through, sounding like it came through water.
“Maria? Maria is that you? Maria!” Haddie said, getting more desperate as she tried to find her.
The boy directed his gaze back at Haddie, who couldn’t seem to move.
“She knows you.” More images flashed around Haddie. The first time she saw Maria, at a courthouse. Adventures in the woods, far from their parents' grasp. The Amber Alert that had made it onto local news, wherein Maria and Haddie were described, Maria being the ‘kidnapped’ child, and Haddie being the accused perpetrator. The obituary, after Haddies parents gave up searching for their ‘good’ daughter. Haddie fell to her knees, gasping with shock, as the boy took a step back.
“I thought you said... he brought you here?” he said, his voice steady, but his eyes, behind his translucent lids, darting around fearfully.
“He did…” the familiar voice said, a lift at the end of the statement.
“Her memories say that she took you from your home.” the boy said, lowering his eyebrows.
“That’s strange…. What did you say her name was?”
‘Uuhhh… Hadden or... Haddie or something,”
“HADDIE?” The voice screeched.
"Haddie, are you alright?" Haddie gasped awake and started hyperventilating. "Ri?" She looked up and saw it was Kipp. "Oh... sorry, I just..." She looked around her, dizzy. "...must've dozed off... or something."

Take came and joined her, plopping himself right by her side. He crossed his legs and slouched a bit, completely callous about those who were injured. As long as there was a healer or someone to tend to the injured, he held no worry. He was simply a brawler, and he did his part when dealing with the wolves, now he could just relax until the group got moving again. His yellow scleras glowed gently in the dark, observing the few small, frog-like creatures he saw earlier, that scampered across the path. His eyes went to the trees, and they weren’t as crowded with the stalking ones from earlier, though some still lingered.

"Do you have something that would make a good sling?" Kyle asked aloud. Cam's outside shoulder wound was healed, but the dislocated arm was not, and he did not think he could find anyone skilled enough to erm... relocate it.
Kipp grit his teeth holding himself back from snapping at Kyle.
"Yeah." He was about to repeat that there were clothes in his bag, but realized that wouldn't help Kyle unless there was someone there to assist. "Just, give me a second." He ran a hand over his face and pushed it back through his hair. Why was he so on edge still, the danger was gone. They should be fine now. There was even a healer with them this time. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly trying to calm himself down.
"Hey," He said crouching back down next to the Russian guy. Giving him an apologetic smile. "Could you help Haddie?" He was glad she'd answered when he called her, but honestly it would be better if the healer guy took care of her.

Fred had dodged all the wolves, he knew it was very cowardly but he had no weapon or powers. He had come across a few chickens in the bushes where he was hiding. He frowned why were there chickens in the bushes? Better question. Why was I in the bushes?
Fred spat out a few leaves that had taken up residence in his mouth. “Pah” he spat it out. He blinked his feet sticking out the bushes “help?” He questioned watching a series of feet walk past. He was stuck, this was embarrassing.
