The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

“Yeah” Aria nodded “the poison is really painful”. She watched in amazement as the green faded and her arm healed “your incredible!” She grinned feeling like she should hug this lady
Grammar patted her on the back.
“Who needs healing next?” Korim asked.
~
Grammar healed all of the people who needed to be healed grabbing hand after hand patting back after back.
Ellie smiled taking one “here you have the rest you need them more than me”
“Yeah, right,” Cameron said. “There’s more than enough for all of us. And if you can’t see that, then I’m leaving to go eat in the dining hall so you can see sense.
Cam was tired, but food definitely helped. She shoved the tray to Ellie’s chest and climbed down the ladder, skipping to the house on freshly healed toes.
She peeked through the door and rubbed her stomach, bypassing all awkwardness barriers in a single bound.
“I’m hungry,” she said, shrugging her shoulders unapologetically.
She was also at that point beyond exhaustion where everything seemed funny and you acted totally impulsively which I’m 40 percent sure is a survival coping mechanism.

Pell rolled her eyes when Lilith mentioned her brother, "Of course he was. He believe's everything Mam and Pap say." She muttered. Pells eye latched on to Lilith at the mention of the lake. She hadn't believed it really existed. Pell shrugged, "It's nice enough I guess. Dragon poo stinks. Lots of my friends have been disappearing lately." She said grabbing another piece of bacon to munch on. "At least that's what Mam says is happening. I think they just don't want to hang out anymore. I mean really, We-sa? Like those things could really exist." She shook her head and crunched off the crispy end.

Terci led her back to the barn, taking her around even the smallest tripping hazards on the path.

Gree eyed Blair with a crooked smirk on his face. He wasn't sure why she was so impatient, or maybe anxious.
"Pell what's with this one? She gotta pee or something?" She leaned forward to look all the way down to the other end of the table.
"He wants to know if you're ok." She said loudly to be heard over the noise.

Mam barely looked up from the hot frying pan that she was pouring more batter into, at the new comers nodding at them. The group seemed to be quite large, perhaps that's why they were able to survive. Of course that hadn't saved her brother, when a search party had gone out to look for missing kids a few months ago. No one had returned from that rescue attempt. Perhaps these people could have seen the missing men out there, or maybe they could at the very least give some closure, if there really was no hope of them returning.

"EE-daa-tak-moss?" Juun echoed, staring wide eyed up at the Cat mask and smiling. He didn't know what it meant, but he wanted to be part of the conversation. What ever was going on.

Terci watched from below as her Grandmother climbed the ladder. Before skipping back to the house to help her aunt Mallie, who still hadn't eaten yet.
(Looks like Aria's not in the house. XD )
Hana glanced at the grey haired boy that was seated next to her, hearing his take on ‘itadakimasu’ after she had said it. She gave him a small smile as munched on a strip of crispy bacon. He was pretty close to it’s pronunciation, especially for hearing it once.

Blair stared at the table, unblinking, trying to drown out the noise. I should go out to the barn...check on Take...Kit's watching him, though. He'll be fine. I won't be fine if these people keep being so loud...Mom would kill me if I were this loud at the table. Maybe I should go look around, see if i can pick up Emma's scent. Or Kipper's. Wasn't he supposed to be here? Oh, no...what if something happened to him? And Haddie?
She was still unblinking, leg bouncing, pain raging in the front of her skull, when she was ripped from her thoughts by a voice directed at her. She winced, pain obvious in her features. Do you people always yell?
She was silent for several moments, blinking only once. "If I'm okay?" She stared at Pell in confusion. Yes, idiot. You need to pay attention more. You looked like a freak, just staring at the table.
"Uh...fine." She answered after a few more moments of silence. Normally, she was good at listening to the wolf and responding normally to a conversation, but being so tired made it impossible to do both at once without getting overwhelmed. "I'm fine."

Take opened his eyes halfway, spotting the tray of food. He blinked his eyes slowly as he was still half asleep, mumbling inaudible words that were supposed to be “Gimme food now, hungry” if he spoke clearer. He let out a groan as he rolled himself over to Cam and Ellie, reaching for whatever food he could lay his hand on. He fed himself in a messy manner, eating what his hand successfully delivered to his mouth.
Kit snapped to attention when somebody suddenly rolled over her tail, bolting awake. She gave a whine of annoyance more then pain, wriggling her tail out from beneath Take, giving a indignant huff of air.
At the sight of food, she crawled closer to him, sitting up straight. She cocked her head, whining to get his attention. Food? Please?

Pell shrugged at her brother holding a hand up uncertainly so he could actually see. Gree furrowed one brow his eyes turning back to study the anxious looking girl. He quickly decided she needed some cheering up, and dished several flat cakes on to her plate for her. Then smiled and gave her a friendly pat on her shoulder.

Take wolfed down much of the food before he suddenly heard Kits whining, glancing back at the border collie with his mouth full. He gave her an attempt of a dirty look in his half asleep state from her sharp noises and swallowed, “Here” he mumbled, scooting the tray in Kits direction. There was at least two handfuls of bacon and a couple pancakes left. “Now shush” he added, resting his head and falling back asleep where he laid. His furnace of a stomach being calmed for now.

Cam decided Mam’s nod of acceptance was enough and she slid into a seat, pulling a plate and some silverware from the middle of the table and wondering what kind of native table etiquette she was totally butchering.
But she was too hungry and tired to care. Cam grabbed some bacon and pancakes, slathering the pancakes with the jam that the others seemed to be obsessed with.
She peered at the purple jelly, trying to identify it, wondering whether the natives were immune to some poisonous berry she had never heard of.
As she took one bite, her jaws locked with the starchy stickiness.
I didn’t even realize how thirsty I was.
That could explain the pounding headache.
She almost reached for a pitcher of water, but she didn’t trust water anymore. There was also a golden liquid in a pitcher. It looked like apple juice, but there was a lot of liquor of the same color.
She weighed her options, eventually opting for the water. They wouldn’t have purposefully tried to make me a four-year-old, right?
One drink, and her head cleared instantly. Much, much better.

Blair blinked at him, glancing at the plate then back at him, and grinned. She dipped her head slightly in gratitude, not knowing any other way since he wouldn't understand her, then turned to her plate. She nearly wolfed down most of the cakes, but left a few on her plate to bring to Take and Kit, and would take a few more if she could. The cakes were different then anything she had ever had, sweeter, not fluffy but much better and more flavorful then anything her mother had ever tried to make. "Thank you," she murmured, getting up from the table and taking the plate with her. "I'm going to check on the group." She said as she passed Pell, before heading out the door and towards the barn.

Kit gave a snort, understanding the hissing 'shush' that she often got from Blair. She scarfed down the bacon and pancakes in a few heartbeats, licking the pan clean. When she was finished, even thirstier then before but full, she crawled to Take's side, flopping herself beside him and sprawling her head on his arm. Content, she fell asleep in mere seconds.
