The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Korim shrugged. "Sure thing," he said, ambling towards the house and whistling, flanked by two feathery dragons. He shooed them away before entering the hot smelliness of his kitchen. He grabbed a plate and piled food on it, knowing that there was a long journey ahead of him. Mallie, being her usual helpful self, was packing a bag full of sandwiches, fruit, and something similar to jicama sticks for what would be their first meal on the road.
She knew they would get sick of dried meat very quickly, so they might as well have something fresh at first.

Kevin followed Korim inside, entering the washroom to clean his hands before eating. After he was done he entered the kitchen, sitting down at the table. He looked around as everyone spoke to each other, catching bits and pieces of their conversation. He had grown to like the Corim family. In a way, they reminded him of his own.
Kevin took a piece of bacon off of the tray, slowly nibbling on it. He wasn’t that hungry, he was mostly impatient to leave.

Clary entered the kitchen, sitting at the table and piling her plate with food. She was in love with their pancakes, and wished she could get the recipe. The only thing stopping her was that she wouldn’t be able to get the ingredients on earth.

Cam spread what she now knew was purpur durup jam on her screewhea pancakes. She wondered how the pancakes were made without eggs and decided it had to be the properties of the yellow powder Mam put in. She hadn't caught the name of the plant that was used to make that substance. Cam grinned as the sticky sweet pancakes took the edge of her hunger and took a sip of water. As great as it was, though, she missed her family at home.

Ellie grabbed a plate and loaded her plate up with the pancakes before plonking herself down next to Cam. “Mmm”

Once Hana entered the home, she took off her combat boots as usual and seated herself along with everyone at the dining table. When it would be time to go, she would definitely miss the sweet inviting aroma of Mam’s cooking and it’s delectable tastes. She prepared her plate with multiple breakfast items, making sure she would eat enough for the journey. Before eating, she politely thanked for the food in Japanese, never forgetting her manners. Hana was growing accustomed to some of the people in the group, getting used to their clashing personalities by observing how they interacted with one another since she didn’t talk to most of them.
