The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Kylan hurriedly stepped over to the door, hands gripping the straps of his backpack as he waited beside Kyle and Cam, waiting for the others.

Lilith smiled a bit, happy to have been a help. She glanced at Eve, dipping her head to her acknowledgement, before turning and walking towards the door after the others. "Not to be rude to the Corim's, but I'm pretty glad we're leaving." She murmured to the other black-haired girl absentmindedly, vein rimmed eyes flickering around to look at the others.

Torin's eyes were big and wonder-filled, completely ignoring Noah's skepticism. "Whoa... That's so amazing! I never thought that dragons were real." He smiled, taking a sip of his soup before giggling when Take flung the his food at Noah.
Aria lingered next to him

Ashira sat in the dark, cold room, her wounds from the beating still hurting. Finally, a guard opened the door. “Get out,” he snarled. Go to lunch.” Wasting no time, she got to her feet and walked to the busy room, keeping her head down so she didn’t draw attention to herself. She looked around for the others.
Fred spotted her but did not say hi, he was busy working on that plan

Ashira, meanwhile, did not notice him. Her fear was keeping her from being very productive. The mental struggle of this prison was starting to get to her. That on top of the fact that they hadn’t given her any food or water during her confinement.

Chion looked up at the boy surprised that he was actually concerned about her. "I'm ok." A curious look crossed her face as she studied his. "My name's Chion." She didn't know what exactly it was about him, but he was the first person down here who seemed calm and caring. Almost like he hadn't let his circumstances change who he was before coming here. "What's your name?"

Kipp fought the urge to react to Take, turning his face away to glare off into the distance. He already knew his attempt was a bad idea, before he'd even tried it.
"I'm going to get food." He muttered walking away from the table.

(Amer, I'm guessing you're either busy or missed this. I'll move her along since the whole point was not to drag another character in for you. XD)

Chion spotted the girl, she couldn't remember her name, but she recognized her face as the one who had pulled her aside that first day, and as one of the others who had been there when they'd tried to escape.
"Sorry." She said scrunching her shoulders up apologetically, "I have to go." She then left as quickly as she could making her way over to Ashira. "Are you ok? Where have you been?"

She looked up. “Oh, uh... I- I was out in some of cell. I don’t really know where. Do you know where the others are?” One of her waves fell in front of her ear.

Chion tilted her head to the side looking up at Ashira's pale face with wide eyes. A small twinge of suspicion flickered in her mind. Why would they take her to a cell? Why is that the first thing she asked about? She quickly dismissed it, her cheeks puckering in a friendly smile. "Yep, they're all over there. I'll take you over, it's kind of crowded in here." She said leading her to the small gathering of English speaking kids. Chion plopped herself back down in her own seat grinning. She could hardly wait to be able to understand everyone, but she couldn't just transform right there in the open either. She needed something to cover her face with something to wrap around her head so no one would notice that there were 2 versions of that boy running around.

Wordlessly, Ashira ripped off the bottom of her dress and handed it to the girl. “Cover your head with it,” she whispered, sitting on the rickety seat. “Hi,” she said softly, still quiet, though she looked up at the others. Without realizing, she had sat next to Kipp.

(Kipp's a short distance away having a melt down. )

Chion held the dirtied fabric in her hand surprised for a moment that she'd some how gotten exactly what she needed without asking. Then recalled Ashira was a telepath, not a linguist and smiled at her appreciatively before draping the cloth over her head and wrapping it round the lower half of her face, and neck. Hopefully it would be enough to hide her similar features.

She poked Torin, getting his attention so that he wouldn't be surprised to have a stranger sitting next to him. Then changed while she had his attention.

(Oops. I’ll add this)
Kipp wasn’t with the rest of the group. Wincing, she cast out her senses, honing in on each thought while the others screamed at her. Finally, she found one that was easily accessed, and a glance told her of memories she was familiar with. Kipp! She got to her feet and walked around some more, following the trail until the thoughts grew louder, and she was looking right at him. “Kipp?” she asked, hesitating slightly as she saw he wasn’t doing very well. “Are you okay?”

Take grabbed his spoon that had a little bit of soup left and flung it at Noah dispassionately, “I’m being for real”
Kipp stopped again, his fists clenched by his sides, ears tucked down, and eyes shut.

"Five minutes. I just need five minutes alone ok?" He growled through gritted teeth. He'd reached his limit, and knew he couldn't handle it any more. He'd struggled to keep from crying, tricking himself into being angry instead of sad. But he couldnt take it anymore. There was only so much blame he could take, and it was enough.

Kipp suddenly folded, crouching down onto the floor, cursing as he buried his face in his hands. He dug his fingernails into his hair and quietly sobbed, shaking in the middle of the walkway.
Noah scrunched up his face angrily, then giggled, wiping the soup off his dirty face. It was sorta funny.
“No way...” he breathed, imagining the dragons. “I wanna see them... can I see them?
“What’s wrong with him?” Noah asked. It was an innocent sort of insensitivity.

(Thank you, totally missed it)

Cam followed the group outside. Kyle and Rylie were reunited and Korim aquired a couple of tag-a-longs.
Cam was glad she didn’t have any animals following her around to worry about. It was hard enough trying to keep track of the newer members of her group.
“So we’re going east?” she asked. It sounded wrong the moment it left her mouth. Characters in stories often went west, or north, to unknown horizons. They even went south sometimes. But rarely east. Bar The Hobbit, maybe.
