The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

“You’re okay! You’ve got food? Okay, we have to go!” Her eyes filled with pleading. “Please... they’re torturing someone I know. We need to find them and leave.”

"Of course im fine." She looked with confusion to Grafe, who gave her a nervous smile in return. "Wait, but it's almost dinner time. They'll notice if Grafe isn't here." He quickly made his way across the room moving around the hot stoves that were placed far too close to each other with practiced ease.

"It's alright." He said coming to her and brushing a hand through her dark hair. "We knew it wouldn't be all of us getting out. They're ready now. This is the best chance. You have to go."

Seine, set the metal bucket down on the floor the handle clattering against the side. As she threw her arms around him.
"I'll send them back for you." She whispered, "Don't go getting yourself killed."

Ashira awkwardly shuffled her feet, not quite knowing what to do. She didn’t want to intrude on their moment.

Seina set down the basket of bread rolls and gestured for Ashira to come and help her. They weren't going to be able to take the whole basket and go unnoticed. She unbuttoned her loose over shirt and pulled out her undershirt using it as a hammock to hold bread as well.

"How many people are there?" She asked wondering how much she needed to try to fit in her shirt.

“I’m sure Chion could help me. But would that be to much to ask?” Fred asked. His mind ticked away thinking up a plan. How do I get them out without being seen? “Kipp, how much powder do you have?”
“Okay,” Noah said, walking down the tunnel. One, two, three, four cross tunnels on the left. “Let’s go.”

“Um... us, plus Kipp and Take, and the kids and Fred, Chion...” She furrowed her brow as she counted. “Wait, you speak English?”

“Oh. I guess that sorta makes sense. Jemiel, a friend of mine is like that. He talks so fast he doesn’t make any sense. Only I can understand him.” Korim’s relentless grin grew more thoughtful at the memory of his friend. But will I see him again? Will I ever get home?
Korim followed Ciro’s gaze to the little man and his cat.
“He’s funny, isn’t he? I’ve never met a little person that was so brave. They’re sort of clingy, the ones I’ve seen. Looks like the cat found a green-hare.” Korim patted the bow that he was shouldering, resisting the urge to pursue the prey. That bow was reserved for bigger game, also, they’d brought lunch along.
"Oh, for as long as I've known him, he's been great. Took charge of us disoriented teens and kept us alive." At the word "alive", Ciro suddenly fell sober. Even though the likelihood of being eavesdropped on was unlikely, he looked around furtively and lowered his voice. He even slowed his enunciation to further ensure he'd stay Spanish and unheard. "What do you think about the kids? Are we actually going to be able to get them back?"

(I realized last night when i went looking for all the little kids names that Emma is actually 5 not 4. But she never told Kipp her age that i'm aware of so we'll just say he's guessing based on the other two 5 year olds sizes.)

"We'll meet up with Ashira before we get to Take, or we should. She's not coming back here."

Kipp didn't know what to suggest. His immediate reaction to Fred suggesting he be the one in back was to say no. He knew it wasnt safe and who ever stayed behind likely wouldnt make it out. He wanted to say he should do that job, but Fred would probably say the same thing. No way not safe. But they couldn't just leave the slowest in the back. He was impatient to go every minute they stayed here was another minute Take was in pain.

"Let's just go, we're a small enough group the 4 youngest can lead the way out of here. You, me, and Chion can fight off who ever comes after us."

---

Chion tossed a piece of ore she'd dislodged past Kipp's head glaring at him.
"Or, I could turn into one of those and just pull us all out of here unnoticed." She said pointing at one of the creatures pulling a cart. "Don't you remember how many followed us last time? Are you trying to get us caught again?" She held back from yelling but her voice was strained and angry even with her hushed tone.
“That’s actually a brilliant idea” Fred agreed looking at Chion (he’s talking to Chion)

(oops - While I'm on my phone I can't access the text altering menu at the top. I forgot to enter the color code. )
(That’s okay)
“Well, I don’t know exactly. Us plus Kipp, Take, Fred, Chion, and the kids. I don’t know how many of them. I also don’t know if there are any others on our side. Just take as much food as you can. We’ll need it.”
