Carson nodded and walked over to stand near her. He made sure he stayed next to Ellie, not wanting to leave her side when there might be danger around. "Eyes and ears open, Buck. We're about to get into danger most likely. I'll need you to warn us if you smell anything."
Buck let out a snort to show he understand, then began carefully sniffing around the area

Kyle obliged, even though he didn’t like someone else taking charge. What other responsibility did a little guy have?

“Oh, I see how it is...” Cam said, staring at Ellie and Carson. Or “Big Kyle” as she thought of him. Some people and their felines. “Keeping the love birds together. Wouldn’t want any upsets.” Her words were absolutely teasing, of course.

“Yep” Ellie grabbed Aria’s other hand. “Group. Who’s with Lilith and E- sorry what’s your name?”

Lilith tensed when Cam started to say that, but realized what she meant immediately after and snickered a little, eyes dancing. "Oh yes, hate to do that."
She returned to a straight face, glancing at Aria. I... Literally just said who...? "Carson, Ciro, Kyle, and Korim. That'll make six of us."

“Oh, so serious.” Kyle said. “‘It’s gonna’ be up to us main fighters,” he parroted.

“I am ready for anything,” Korim said in a deep voice, patting the bow on his shoulder as if he were a halfway decent shot. He even added the effect of narrowing his eyes and added a twisted grimace.
A grin quickly broke his granite chiseled expression and lit up his round face.
This incited a grin from Cam. Boys could be so silly sometimes, compelling you to laugh even when you really didn’t want to. Even when she was trying to stay on task she would see out of the corner of her eye a boy perform some ludicrous antic and she’d have to force down the giggles.

Lilith laugh at Korim, smirking. "I forgot you had a weapon."
She looked down at Kyle, annoyance obvious on her face. "Oh yeah, let's see you do anything, shorty." She snipped, rolling her eyes.

What if something happened to him? She shook off the thought. After a big of tugging, she managed to break the straps. “Let’s get out of here and get back to Sein, then we can look for Kipp. Can you walk?”

Once Take was freed from the table, he threw his legs over the side so that he was sitting upright. He rubbed his sore wrists, “Who’s Seen?” he asked, hopping off the table. A tingly sensation appeared in the soles of his feet when they made contact with the ground, “I can walk.” he added, stretching them awake to get rid of the ‘pins and needles’ feeling. He shot a thumb back in the direction of the corridor, “We’ll have to come back here, the tunnel that leads outside is down there.”

He shot a thumb back in the direction of the corridor, “We’ll have to come back here, the tunnel that leads outside is down there.”

“Seina. I misspoke. She distracted the guards so I could get in here. We’re getting her out of here with us.” She started to go back toward the door. “We’ll come back after we’ve found the others. I’m not leaving without them.”

Take gave her a nod, “Oh.. neat” he murmured, following after Ashira. He gave a careful glance back at the table that he was strapped down to, alleviated that he wasn’t enduring any more pain. I doubt I’ll forget that feeling...

“I’m sorry,” she murmured before they left the room. “I wish someone could’ve come sooner.” Then she opened the door and slipped out, looking for Seina.

Seina sat curled up in the hallway her arms holding her knees as close to her chest as possible. Likely squishing all the bread. She was hiding just barely out of sight of the guard waiting for Ashira to come back. When the large metal door swung inward, she again used her power to distract the guard. Creating a fluttering smokey shape near his face that quickly darted away. Leading him down a side passage.

Noah noticed Chion-the-mole-thing was pawing at the yoke and he decided to pick it up and put it over he shoulders and put a harness over her head.

Chion attempted to smile at Noah to thank him for his help, unaware of how terrifying the look was on her new face. Then began her long trudge uphill to their exit.

Fred watched the passage behind them. You never knew when someone could turn that corner and they’d all be in trouble. He chewed his cheek thoughtfully, how’d they get into this mess? Oh yeah that’s right, Kyle.

Kipp walked along side the cart, using the majority if his remaining energy just to keep his eyes open and his feet moving. Just breathing felt like a chore. He regretted not sleeping since arriving here. He should have tried harder. He should have known that not sleeping was going to make things a million times harder. There wasn't anything he could do to fix it now though. Either he'd sleep when they were out, or he'd sleep when they were caught. It didn't matter much to him either way. Nothing mattered anymore, as long as it ended with sleep.
