The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

“Thank you,” Kyle said. “Just pick him up, please. Wait, will you be needing to hold Buck as well, or will you be holding his paw?”

“That is not exactly what I was implying with that question, but oh well,” Korim said, reaching for Aria’s? hand.
He nodded, then scooped Rylie up gently into his arms. In response to Kyle's question, he placed his free hand on Bucks's head, rubbing his ears. He prepared himself to be teleported, not quite knowing what to expect.

Kipp turned at the sound of his voice. Had he wandered back up the hill to complain? He looked down at the large dead thing rather disinterested.
"It's not food. If that's what you're thinking." He answered. What ever it was it had been there a while. The rotted and dried out flesh pulled taught over it's ribcage in the few places it was still intact.
(Oh, I thought Kipp had gone down the hill. I thought the bones were down the hill)
“Of course it’s not food. I was just wondering what it is. I’ve never seen such a big bird before. How do you think it got here? What do you suppose it is?”

Kyle grabbed Rylie’s paw as he realized the cat was getting carried away without him. It was quite awkward, dangling from a cats’ paw. Hopefully it wouldn’t affect his ability to teleport.

He noticed Kyle hanging from Rylie's paw and removed his hand from Buck to help him get to a safer spot along his arm/shoulder area. Once he was sure Kyle wouldn't fall, he replaced his hand onto Bucks head.

(He went down the first hill chion went down the second hill. Heh, sorry Kipp's kind of being a jerk again. He need sleep.)

Kipp blinked at him exhaustedly.
"We're on a strange planet." He shrugged. "It's probably completely normal."

“I don’t know,” Ashira said suspiciously. “I’ve never seen that before.”

Kipp was disappointed by the silent answer, unable to tell what Fred was thinking. He hated not being able to talk to him, but he still was getting the feeling that he'd done something wrong and nothing was good enough to fix it.
"We have to keep moving." He muttered, pushing himself to his feet and offering his hand to help Fred up.
“Thanks. Kipp, for fixing my glasses” Fred smiled accepting Kipps hand and using it to pull himself to his feet

(You just barely saved Fred from Kipp being a jerk again. :D I was just about to post with this in there - Kipp gave up on waiting for Fred to get up on his own, and dragged him to his feet. - I'll edit it now though. )
(Thank goodness I was awake 55 minutes before my alarm goes off lol 😂)

“I don’t know,” Ashira said suspiciously. “I’ve never seen that before.”
"Ok?" He said with an exasperated tone, rubbing his knuckles against an eyebrow, somehow, giving it a place to hurt more eased his headache ever so slightly. "Do we have to solve all the mysteries of the universe today? Or can we go find a safe place where we're not going to get caught by guards or eaten by giant wolves? How'd they get here? They're birds they flew. What is it? It's DEAD. Let's not stick around to meet whatever it was that made it that way." He was fully aware that he was being too harsh, but he couldn't stop himself. He was overwhelmed with urgency to keep them moving, but they just wanted to stand around and talk.

Kipp had forgotten he was still holding his hand out for Fred. Jumping at the sudden grip on his hand and pivoting to see what had grabbed him. He stared at him in wide eyed shock. Unable to process the clashing emotions tearing him apart.

Relief, guilt, anger, joy, desperation, and hope, all swirled around inside him. Pulling him from one extreme to the other. He wanted to shove Fred away defensively, but also pull him into a tight hug. Or maybe he'd throw up again, or just curl up in a ball and cry.

Instead of any of those things he stood there shaking, his face paling as he stared down at Fred's hand in his.
