The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Kipp smiled sleepily down at Noah who had dropped his hand to go down on his own. It was a lot easier to get them to keep moving when they thought of it as a game.
He looked down at Emma who seemed to be a particularly quiet kid. She still held his hand unmoving. Maybe she didnt want to get muddy. Though that seemed pointless considering how covered in dirt they already were.

"You can ride down on my lap if you'd prefer." He said sitting down on the soggy ground. ( @Cluckcluck1215 )
"N-no, I'll be okay." Emma murmured, snapping to and letting go of his hand. She was tired and just wanted to go home. Maybe after this I can...
She sat down, pushing herself down the slope, getting throughly coated in mud on the way down.

In the short time of a single second, Blair went from being a few feet beside him, to a couple inches in front of him. She pulled his hood off his face, using the slightest bit of force to lift his chin up with her fingers. "I don't give a damn." She snapped. "It's not you. It's not your fault and I don't blame you. I don't care how many scars I get from him, I will never blame you. So don't you dare blame yourself. Don't sit here and feel guilty for something that isn't your fault." Her voice was harsh, not because she was trying to be mean, but because she was irritated that he thought it was his fault. She never blamed him, and it never crossed her mind that he might blame himself.
She hated it. She hated the fact she could do nothing about the demon, hated the fact that after months she still hadn't found anything that could get rid of him for good, hated that anything she did find came up as a false lead. Her hand fell away from his chin, landing in her lap. "Don't, okay? I can't stand the fact that you do. I love you and I don't want you to be hurting for no reason."
Take felt exposed when Blair abruptly undid his hood from his face. Damnit. He rubbed at his stinging eyes that had built up some tears, threatening to spill. Though he listened to her carefully as his chin was in her grasp, forcing him to give her his complete attention. His face was full of repentance, eyebrows drawn upwards, but it slowly faded into one that didn’t accept the excuse she was trying to make up for him. He yanked his face away from her aggressively, “No. It doesn’t matter if it was the demon, it’s the fact that my hands harmed you Blair. Don’t you get it?” he rasped, “It’s still my fault because I never learned how to control that stupid gremlin better, and I let him reign wildly over my body.” He started putting on his socks and shoes impulsively, not thinking twice about heading out into the storm. He wanted to get away from this conversation, away from Blair being hypocritical when they had gone through this before when she blamed herself for killing that woman back in October. She never believed his words of comforts then, why should he now? He was completely clueless of what to do when the demon took over again to carry out his deal with the wolf. There has to be something...

(Sorry, writing has been not with me the last few days. Not sure how much time i'll have for the next little bit.)

Kipp sat at the top hesitating, the whole idea of sliding down instead of flying was freaking him out. He tried to convince himself logically that there was no danger to it. The other three had made it down easily. But that did nothing to quell his apprehension. Down down down. Have to go down. He told himself pushing himself over the edge and closing his eyes tightly, tensing as he careened down the hill.

He came to a spinning stop at the bottom. Slowly getting to his feet with a hand over his stomach. He'd never thought of himself as afraid of heights, but he'd also never not been able to fly.

"You think I don't know how that feels?" Blair rose to her feet, a chaos of hurt and anger welling inside her. She had been moments away from apologizing for what she had said so abruptly, when he ignored her confession entirely. And he's leaving. This happened last time I said that to someone...
"I know how it feels. Every day. If I could do something about it, I would." She began a restless pace back and forth, the wolf enjoying the sudden hurt and anger she felt. "And I'm trying. I've been trying so hard to find something, but everything I find leads to a dead end." She turned to him, her eyes flaring golden in the darkness of the cave. "Every damn time. I think I found something, found someone who dealt with the same things you do, but every time it's a false led, dead end, different situation." I can't do this. Do something. This is all you.
"And you're leaving. Leaving despite the fact that I don't care if I get hurt." She had tried to keep her voice steady, but it ending up breaking, even though her face remained blank. "What do you want me to say? Because I'm not going to beg for you to stay and not feel guilty because I know that's not going to work."

Take had just put on his second shoe after her words of ‘I love you’ sunk into him. He didn’t know what he was doing anymore, why he was acting more stupid than usual. His body moved on its own, completely standing up to to leave, but he felt weak in the knees, unable to move any further. I can be sensitive... or thick skinned... I can’t ever be both.. His face twisted with uncertainty, I’m not.. thinking straight... I’m.. so tired. He suddenly fell to his knees as another crash of lightening appeared, laying himself on the ground with his back to Blair. He curled himself up, digging his fingers into both sides of his head as he squeezed his eyes shut. “I’m sorry.” He breathed, “I don’t know what I’m doing anymore..” He had hardly any energy left, and it allowed him to slowly slip off into sleep. He didn’t want to upset Blair any further or create anymore tension, just deciding to something with whatever rational thinking remained.

Kevin picked the bright pink flower and carefully tucked it into his pocket. Standing up, he looked around. The others still hadn’t caught up yet. They’re probably still eating. He thought. He frowned, looking up. The clouds looked darker than they had earlier, indicating a storm. “Looks like it’s going to rain,” Kevin said, watching the strange bird-like creatures take shelter in the trees. “The trees should give us some cover.” Still, they would probably get soaked, and walking in mud with wet shoes was going to be unpleasant.
He adjust the strap of his gun, continuing through the forest. The farther they could get before the rain started the better.

Despite the chaotic emotions Blair felt, she was still there to catch him when his energy drained completely and he gave into sleep. She sat against the wall of the shelter, stone digging into her back as she adjusted him, holding him against her carefully. "It's okay," she whispered, resting her chin on top of his head gently. She released a shaky sigh, wrapping her arms around him. "It'll be okay." Doubtful. It's got to be okay. We'll be okay, we'll fix everything.
