“Okay but your not magic. And if you recall I said you were going to the South Pole not Africa”“Come on, Africa’s nothing,” Noah said. “We’ve dealt with dragon’s... live ones... And griffins!”
Aria laughed. “Okay you want to go to Africa. Give me your hand and we’ll see how you handle it” Aria grinned
Noah collapsed into a fit of laughter. “You got ‘im,” he said. “For communism!” He shook his fist in the air and squirmed through the bodies in order to kick Kylan in the side, because unfortunately that’s just what boys do.
"Torin Adrian Archer, Torin you-- Noah!" Kylan growled, reaching out for each the boys to give them tiny, harmless shocks. Lilith, however, was on their side unfortunately.“Okay maybe you can go live with the Mediterranean flamingos” Aria grinned
“Oh yeah,” Noah realized. “Those flamingoes might be harder to deal with.” He rubbed his chin, as if thnking.“Okay but your not magic. And if you recall I said you were going to the South Pole not Africa”
(It’s happening already! The stir-craziness!)"Torin Adrian Archer, Torin you-- Noah!" Kylan growled, reaching out for each the boys to give them tiny, harmless shocks. Lilith, however, was on their side unfortunately.
She leapt to her senses, gripping both the boys and pulling them to safety, putting up a wall of blue light to protect the three of them.
"Lilith! Give me them back!"
"Nope! For c--" Her voice gave out from laughing so hard, choking on her own breath. "Oh God, what, what is even happening?"
"See? Aunt Lili is on our side!"
“Yeah. Your going to the South Pole”“Oh yeah,” Noah realized. “Those flamingoes might be harder to deal with.” He rubbed his chin, as if thnking.
“She is not on your side. Besides you have to go against the rest of the group and me and Kylan” Aria said(It’s happening already! The stir-craziness!)
“Yeah! She’s a communist too!” Noah said. With this new teenager on his side, he was ready to share his beliefs with anyone who could hear them.
Kylan put his hand on his chest, the other still holding his scythe. "What?" He asked playfully. "Threaten my dear, innocent, definitely not annoying little brother? Never."
At that very moment, Torin took it upon himself to whisper "communism" in his brother's ear.
"But I might just do that to my dear brother if he doesn't shut up about communism!" Kylan gritted out, eyes twitching.
"Ya'know." Lilith leaned in a bit as though she was about to share the world's most confidential secret. "I have power-y powers, I could blast them to the moon."
"Does the moon have communists?" Torin asked.
"It will when you get there, little brother!" She laughed, honestly happy and amused.
"Lili, you're not helping me." He sighed, feeling his brother lean towards his friend.
"I know!"
"But still, my apologies. I really worry about his mind sometimes..." Kylan murmured, looking slowly at Noah.
"Noah." Kylan's voice was drawn out and exasperated, on the edge of a stroke from the three little future communists.
"Comm-un-i--"
"Don't you dare finish that sentence, Torin!"
(I've lost all functioning brain cells. She shouldn't have triggered Torin's show off side.)
"I would! I'd do this to them, watch! Cats hate this!" He raised his hands, twirling them a bit. He would show them just how well he could fend off lions and tigers.
"Don't you dare." Kylan snarled, primal fear seizing his chest. He knew what was coming, he knew death's cold claws would wrap around him.
His brother snickered evilly. "For communism!"
That was the last thing Kylan heard before a heap of freezing water was dumped on his head.
"TORIN!"
Lilith nearly fell to her knees, literally laughing so hard she couldn't breathe.
Noah clicked his tongue. “She said it. I heard her say it! Say it a again!” He told Lilith.“She is not on your side. Besides you have to go against the rest of the group and me and Kylan” Aria said
“It’s really hard, isn’t it?” Cam asked softly. She weaved over to get beside him.He picked up the phone staring at the glowing numbers, his finger hovering over the number one. He could probably go home, he could always fly it. There weren't any police in the sky. It was a long way but, he'd been away for so long. And if he went with everyone, it would be even longer. Who knew how long this would last. He should go home. Even if it mean being away from everyone else.
Kipp looked up at the yelling, smiling at Torin being an absolute terror. Maybe calling now was a bad idea, his dad would likely have decided he was never coming back. It would be better to call later when there wasn't shrieking and giggling in the background. Or maybe he didn't want to call.
Kipp stared back down at the phone in his hand, he didn't want to call. Not now. It would have been better to just show up at home. Calling, meant actually talking to them. He carefully put the phone back on it's dock, wondering who'd been paying Kyle's power bill since they'd left. Then stood back up, instantly merging with the group that was in a rough circle around the outside edges of the room.
