The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

"Hmm? No I mean here. Home as in Earth. We can't go home home. We're stuck here." He said pointing his fingers at the floor boards. "If we're stuck here for months, what do you want to do?" He asked, finally stepping backwards out into the hallway and looking up at the ceiling. There above him was a small square of plywood, bordered by trim and painted white to blend in with the ceiling.

"Aha! Attic!" He said grinning. "How do we get up?"
“Here piggy back me” Fred cried grinning

Huh... I wonder if I could catch a fish. He wandered over to the river, dipping his paw in experimentally. Satisfied that his paw could in fact still work in water, he crouched down and watched for movement. As soon as he saw a flash of silver scales, he leaped into the river, figuring a fish was like normal prey. Instead all he got was a wet pelt and muddy paws. He growled in frustration as he hauled himself back onto the bank.

(why. why did I get zero alerts for this? Doth BYC hate me so?)

(my alerts decided that obviously I wasn't needed for this XD I've been mainly relying on them lately to keep up, I guess when I took a break it decided to kick this out of the unread.)

Lilith squinted at Nat with mild amusement, chocolate smeared on her lips as she reached for a napkin. "Well, you're still looking just jolly from that scuffle with the wall." She joked, giving a grin.

When she suddenly abandoned them and ran inside, Kylan had mutely shook his head and moved off to watch the boys pet the sheep, zoning out. And she ran off. Again.
When he finally realized she had returned, he barely caught the sound of sniffles and Kevin trying to sooth her, at which he quickly turned to make sure she was alright, half way not expecting to see her eyes so tear stained and puffy. "Ari? Hey, c'mon, are you alright? You were just here a minute ago, and now..." He paused, looking rather worried. He wanted to give her a hug, but also knew that had a probable chance of making her pretty uncomfortable instead of comforting her.

Torin giggled, giving a toothy smile as he looked over at the creature. "Maybe we can! It's so cool!" He laughed, barely shuffling towards it as to not be noticed by their three adult observers who seemed suddenly rather preoucupied.
The donkey regarded them with a mixture of mild annoyance and curiosity.
“Donkey!” Noah cried, climbing on its back.
Cam finally noticed Noah clambering on the donkey. ”Noah, no!” she cried. The donkey was first filled with shock, and then tried to buck Noah off. This was an unsuccessful attempt. Noah had greatly increased his grip strength in Borealis where he “endured” many a long piggyback ride. The ran straight into a crowd of cattle.
Ciro gave her the sharpest look he could muster, but he knew it was nothing compared to what she could do. Or any of them, for that matter. When it came to glares, he was greatly outclassed here. "Smart is...ah, I don't know the word, but it has to be a matter of where you are... and who you are. Do you think a textbook scholar could live your life and survive what we went through?" He daringly crawled his right fingers across the bridge of Taquikkar's snout and then jumped them off, but caught them in the palm of his left before they could end up in her maw. "No way. You notice, figure out, and overcome things other people are completely unaware and useless against, day after day in your life." He returned his eyes to Aella's, his lopsided smile pushing the right one into a slight squint. "Give yourself credit, El. If I only had money, no one could stop me from hiring you to be my psychopath."

"Dunno, man. Never had a concussion before." Somewhat sobered, Nat frowned, but also took advantage of the pause to wag her tongue at Lilith. "Or maybe I have. Should I remember that?"

yeah that and im not sure how to set up characters and all that... ive never done on before... i justed learned about these things a couple days ago... i would rather join one for a while before making my own...
(Well... if you did make a chicken rp I might join if it were good enough. I would make one except I’m occupied now with this one. I’ll help you if you want.)

“Um” she cleared her throat “in the three months my parents um got a divorce”
"O-- Oh. Ah, Aria," Kylan blinked, slightly perplexed by this new predicament. What does someone say to make someone feel better after that? He'd known her parents didn't get along the best, but she hadn't said it was that bad. "I know this sounds dull, but, I'm truly sorry. If you ever need someone to talk to about it, we'll all be here for you."

Lilith chuckled, pausing with the napkin hovering right over her lips as she glowered at Nat's childish act of sticking her tongue out.
Finally, she returned the favor by sticking her own out. "Due to our stupid escapade of the last three months, I'd say we've all had them. Multiple times. You should remember it, or maybe not, because you currently have a concussion; what do I know?"
The donkey regarded them with a mixture of mild annoyance and curiosity.

Torin smirked, trying to run alongside it until it ran into the herd of cattle, at which point he stopped dead and decided to watch the madness unfold.

Kylan, however, was not as chilled out. He flung himself backwards and swiveled to face the upsetted animals, jaw hanging open slightly. "Whose idea was this? How'd he get on?" He muttered to his brother, brows furrowing as he tried to work out a way to put an end to the current situation thrust upon them by the mad child. "I don't think I should electrocute them."

After seeing Kylan walk up to him and Aria, Kevin slowly backed up. He wanted to give them some space, especially since he noticed something between them. He wasn’t sure what exactly it was. He could see they way their faces subtly lit up whenever they saw each other, but the way they constantly ignored each other seemed weird to him. In Russia, if you liked someone you told them very quickly. This, however, had been going on for months.
He turned around, just in time to see Noah climb on the donkey. The donkey screamed and bucked, trying to bite Noah and shake him off. He watched almost in slow motion as the donkey ran through a heard of cows, sending cows and sheep everywhere. “Everyone, out!” Kevin loudly demanded, pointing towards the paddock gate. His face was slightly red with anger. How had no one stopped him? Cam was supposed to keep an eye on him! And what happened to the stay away from the donkey? It seemed like Noah was used to doing what he wanted, whether he was allowed to or not. That needed to change.
Kevin quickly spoke in Russian, words that were most likely similar to the donkeys name, as he stormed towards the donkey. Getting close enough, he grabbed a handful of Noahs shirt and yanked him backwards, the donkey running to the far side of the paddock and calming down now that there wasn’t a two-legged beast clinging to its fur.
“What were you thinking?!” Kevin snapped, holding the boy up to his face. “You do not go near the donkey.” He spoke slowly, emphasizing each word. “Do you know what you’ve done? You might’ve hurt someone,” he said, walking towards the gate. He dropped Noah on the other side, pointing at the door of the house. “If I see you near any of the coops or paddock, you will be kicked to the nearest gas station. Understand?” He said, looking at Cam with a look that he meant it.
