The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Kevin stopped walking and turned to see who had spoken to him. “Oh, hi Kipp.” He said. They hadn’t spoken much, but from what Kevin had seen he seemed like one of the few nice, responsible people in the group. He also didn’t drag misbehaving children around, so that was alway a bonus.
“Laundry room? I keep the washer and dryer in the garage. I’m heading that way, c’mon, I’ll show you.” Kevin replied, continuing to walk inside.
He paused, looking around. The first floor seemed oddly empty, and there was a commotion coming from upstairs. “Uhh, will you give me a second? The garage is right there,” He said, pointing to the door on the right of the stairs. “I should probably make sure they’re not tearing the house apart.” He joked, giving Kipp a small smile.
(Oh Kevin you have no idea how true your words are XD they have quite literally torn his house apart)

Cam kicked the paint chips into a neat pile in the corner with her feet and went downstairs to get a dustpan from where she found it in the closet. Or to hide. Noah sighed. She was going to mope on the couch again.
“We’re not involved,” she hissed.
Suddenly, the phone rang. It could be anyone, but she checked who the caller was. Her mother.
She picked up.
“Cam?”
“It’s me, Mom.”
A very frantic Mrs. Millian and a soothing, confused Cam discussed her current position, and yes, she was totally okay. Why couldn’t she come home? Wait, that was an option? The police made it sound like it wasn’t.
“You’re never gonna believe what happened. I got sucked into another portal.”
Strangely, Mrs. Millian was less dubious than she expected. “Anna told us you went into a portal with Noah, and we never believed her.”
Mrs. Millian insisted she share every detail of where she was and really whether she was totally okay, but Cam told her it was probably best she explained it once she got home.
They said their goodbyes and I don’t want this to be sad so there it is.

Kipp followed him, trying to figure out the right words to say, he didn't want to go back inside, but followed anyway. Kipp looked at the door right next to the stairs, why hadn't he tried that one?

"Umm," he grabbed Kevin's arm to stop him, quickly letting go and running his hand trough his short hair. "I kind of, broke into your attic. Everyone's up there, trying to fix it."

Kevin was already halfway up the stairs when Kipp grabbed his arm. “You. . . What?” He asked, turning around. Break into my attic? I must have misheard that. He thought, frowning. “Why would you do that?” Kevin kept his voice neutral, although there was a hint of anger and disappointment creeping in.

"I was looking for your laundry room?" He said slowly, cringing at how stupid that sounded. "Sorry, for..." he trailed off biting at his lip. He wanted to leave but he knew he had to wait for Kevin to yell at him first.

Kevin slowly rubbed his temples. “So... let me get this straight. You couldn’t find the laundry room, so instead of asking me you tear open my sealed off attic?” He asked. “Do you really think I seal it shut every few days? There’s not even a ladder.” He might’ve been mad had the situation not been so ridiculous, and he wasn’t so tired. “Next time you need something, you come to me, okay?” Kevin said, walking up the rest of the stairs to see just how bad they damaged the ceiling.

Kipp stood at the bottom of the stairs dumbfounded. That was not at all how he expected that to go.

(Hey if someone did that to me I’d be more confused than mad.
(Me too. I've only been in my attic once, and it was just last week. There is a creepy doll up there. I didn't put it there. It's from the previous owners. It's an unfinished attic though so I didn't really go up there all the way. )

“Kevin! I think your wife or ex wife had your child while we were in the other world” Fred shrieked suddenly jumping to his feet
