The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Hana went into a full on sprint after the unicorn. She wasn’t going to allow this mythical beast to harm anyone else, or chase the group for who knew how long. In attempt to stop the unicorn, she threw herself at it, trying to use her hardening weight to knock it down. She at least doubled her weight when she collided with it, wrapping her arms around its neck to aid in shoving the beast to the ground.
The unicorn was pretty light, so it fell over, but it fought as you expected a cornered beast to.
It crawled backwards, stabbing Hanna wildly with its horn. If Hana wasn’t hardened, she’d be a goner, as the unicorn would have punctured her multiple times.

Aella whipped around at Korim call to run, her eyes falling on the unicorn. She nearly laughed at the pathetic size of the creature, but its violently stabs at Hana shut her up rather quickly. A quick glance at Ciro was all she needed to stop herself for fleeing, and she quickly moved past him.
She was around a dozen feet away from the unicorn, behind it, when she conjured a ball of sparks, and sent it flying, the sparks leaping at the unicorns hind end. "This way, pretty pony!"

Blair backed away from the creature, retreating to the back quickly and grabbing Emma. She glanced back to Take briefly, her eyes locking on his. She jerked her head towards where some of the group was retreating, indicating he should follow, instead of doing something stupid again. The unicorn was small, but she really had no clue what it could do, seeing how everything else was in this world. She followed Kit up the pathway after the rest of the group, leaving him behind. Whether he was going to follow her or not was his choice, but she wasn't going to be responsible if he chose not to. Hah, lier. You know you're still gonna do anything for him.

The unicorn charged madly away from the sparks, trampling Hanna and running towards the group.

(Miserably lame post I know. I'm busy. ALWAYS busy.)

Kipp who hadn't stopped quizzically smiling at Cam didn't notice that anything was wrong until she took off running.

Finally seeing that there was a unicorn goat thing that some people were trying to fight and others were running from got him moving. He followed everyone else.... Some other direction from where they'd been going. Hopefully they didn't end up getting lost.

The unicorn charged madly away from the sparks, trampling Hanna and running towards the group.
"That...didn't quite work out." Aella muttered, racing forward. Ciro was on the outskirts of the group, sure, but she wasn't going to be taking any chances. If he got hurt with the wolf in his arms at the same time, it wouldn't end well. Her adrenaline surged as she swung a ball of flames at the unicorns side, hoping to avert it from the group. "Come on, dude! We didn't bother you!"

Cam glanced down at their hands, quickly releasing Kipp’s and resisting the urge to wipe hers on her dirty pants. Kipp’s palms are sweaty. Gross.
“It’s a unicorn,” she whispered, pointing.

Korim wheeled, identifying the creature immediately.
Great, another animal that’s trying to kill us.
“Guys, that’s a unicorn! Run!”
Nat did not run.
In her experience, unicorns always had a unique bonus to offer.
If you treated them right.
And since this one had made its intentions already abundantly clear, Nat would have no qualms taking that course of action.
"Yo, Noah." The child on her shoulders was the most logical consult, of course. "What do you think the chances of are successfully severing its horn?"

Ciro gave up fine-tuning his long overdue response, let his speeding mind land the whole thing in the discard pile where it belonged, and actually made himself useful.

That is, he put the direwolf down and approached the belligerent equine at an angle, opposite of Aella, but directly perpendicular to collide with its right shoulder when it charged.

"Hello, friend," he began, his sentence presentation halting, but his words in themselves were anything but unsure. They were strong, resonant, and unavoidable- but, most of all, trying their very hardest to be the definition of convincing. He hadn't once had to use his charm -or, at least, hadn't been aware of it- since this whole adventure had begun, so what better time to start contributing than now? And, if his attempt at amicable reconciliation failed, he was definitely one of the better choices for it to target. His only downfall would be the helpless charge he'd just abandoned. But if it did come to a good old-fashioned, city-style chase, he'd just have to remember to come back for the wolf. Hopefully he could rely on Aella to be his accountability partner.
Ciro kept his arms at his sides as he steadily advanced, honestly playing the nonconfrontational card, and redirected himself right back on course every time the unicorn turned.
"I am sorry if we alarmed you. We mean no harm. We are...from somewhere other, and do know not if we are taking our steps right."

"Severing?" Noah asked, turning the word over in his head. It was somewhat unfamiliar, his parents didn't use it often. In his reasonable sheltered household, the only severing that was done separated the cauliflower head from the leaves. Severing, like removing the dragon's head from its body.
"Do you have a sword?"

The unicorn charged madly away from the sparks, trampling Hanna and running towards the group.

Hana let out a grunt when she made contact with the ground. Luckily she kept her body hardened long enough to withstand the trampling of the unicorns hooves. She was disoriented momentarily before struggling to her feet and patting the dirt off her arms and leg

Take stood watching the whole scene, and caught Blair’s eyes before she turned away and headed off with the rest of the group. He noticed her signal to follow, but he didn’t know what actions to take next. He wanted to follow her, but at the same time, he noticed the struggle the few others that stayed behind to deal with the unicorn. He looked in both directions before making his decision. Taking a few steps towards Blair and the others, he suddenly whirled and released Timit from his hands, throwing himself at the unicorn much like how Hana did. He tackled it to the ground and wrapped his arms around its neck, immobilizing its ability to turn its head. His legs were tightly coiled around its chest, refusing to let the unicorn get back up

Take picked up their conversation amidst the struggle. “Hurry up and cut this stupid thing off before I end up strangling it!” he yelled out at Hana, the one who always had her sword on her.

Hana hurried over and rested the hilt of her katana in her hands, visibly still bewildered from being trampled on, but she took a couple deep breaths before swinging her blade down on the twisted horn. She let out a yell when she swung, severing the tusk as close as she could to the head.

Aella warily observed Ciro and the unicorn, flames burning beneath the surface of her skin. She thought he was crazy for even approaching the beast after what it did to Aria and Hana, but she only hoped his gentle approach would calm the beast. If he had calmed the dire wolf, then he could certainly calm a simple unicorn. Or so she hoped.
Until Demon-Boy decided to make the not-so-intelligent decision to attack the unicorn, and Hana raced towards it, and cleanly sliced the unicorn's horn off in a single blow. "NO!"
The shriek that left her was painful, tearing her throat but she hadn't been able to surpress the cry of horror at the sight. Her heart dropped, her throat closing in, unable to process what she had just witnessed. Flames suddenly snapped out and violently lashed at the feet of the innocent bystanders, completely out of her control. On shaking legs, she approached them, barely realizing her cheeks were wet. "How could you?" Her voice came out in a high pitched yell, slightly raspy from how loud she had yelled. "Ciro had it completely under control and you come in and maim the poor creature?" She didn't dare look down at the unicorn, her widened gaze locked on Take and Hana. "You're monsters."

After the severing, Take released the unicorn from his grasps and sat up. Thankfully the horn wasn’t the type to bleed out excessively like the antlers on a deer. He stared right into Aellas eyes, without the hint of remorse for what he and Hana did. His face was nonchalant, “Yeah whatever.” he said simply, getting up and stepping over the flames that were etched all over the ground. He wasn’t interested in staying around to argue with this girl over something that couldn’t be reversed.

Hana stared straight down at the portion of horn that she whacked off with her katana. She didn’t meet anyone’s gaze, and could feel the intense heat that surrounded her. “I’m sorry, but it threatened the group..” she said lowly, hearing the anguish in Aellas voice. How she saw it, was the fastest way to resolve the conflict. The group was no longer at risk of being attacked by this creature. Had it been blind like the wolf Ciro managed to tame, she would have put a little more faith in him— but it wasn’t. She moved away silently, towards Aria to check on her wound.
