The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

Take came forward to take a look at the stews for himself. A wide, daring grin spread across his face when he caught sight of the spicy yugum. “Oh yeah, I want a big bowl of the spicy stew” he said, intrigued by its bright vermillion color that said ‘beware I’m packing some serious heat.’ He pointed at it eagerly, hoping the stand owner would get the memo. He took a moment to glance back at the others, and noticed Emma standing alone with Kit. His grin faded, “Hey where’s your aunt?” he asked the girl, looking about for Blair in the general vicinity like a lost child.
“One bowl of the spicy yugum, no... make it two,” said Korim. If Take was going to go for the adventurous food, Korim was going to be his contestant.
“I guess if we’re ordering, I’ll pick this one,” Cam said, pointing to the stew with darker meat that looked like beef stew. One of the vegetables floating in it looked like potatoes, and the other looked like a white carrot. She’d never been a huge fan of beef stew, but it was tolerable, and she craved the humble satisfaction you got after eating it. Also, it felt good picking something familiar. If it looked like beef stew, she could pretend it was.
The Borealan lady began pouring bowls of the spicy stew for Take.
A bowl of the Tante...” Korim continued.

Emma looked up at Take, shaking her head. "I dunno. She and the mask lady were talking about someone...Alex? Yeah, Alex." She pointed in the generally direction she thought Blair had wandered off in. "She said I had to stay here with the others, but she went that way."

After taking some time to pick from the different types of alluring stews, Hana finally decided on the same one as Cam. “Me as well” she spoke, pointing at the stew with dark meat. She surely wasn’t going to risk her stomach by having the spicy stew. Who knew what was included to make the concoction spicy. When she heard Emma mention Alex, and how Blair wandered off, she remained undisturbed knowing Take was most likely going to question her.

Take made disturbed face, Who the hell is Alex? Is he part of our group? He looked in the direction that Emma pointed in, and as much as he wanted to take off and go look for Blair, he had to make sure Emma had something to eat. “Come here.” he beckoned, “What do you wanna eat?” he asked, picking her up so she could see the different varieties of stew. “You want vegetable soup? or one with meat?”

Korim told the lady to pick a bowl for her.

Kipp didn't particularly want meat again, though he knew he needed the extra protein if his feathers were going to grow back any time soon. He really just wanted something plain that wouldn't upset his stomach.

"What ever this one's called." He said to Korim, pointing at the not spicey and not beef stew looking one.

Emma peered at the soups when he lifted her, shrugging slightly. She just didn't want one that looked like the broth they were fed. "Uh...that one." She randomly pointed to a meat stew that vaguely looked like something her mother would make.

(Okay let’s say everyone’s just ordered now.)
Korim ordered their stews and soups. Soon everyone had one. Even Rylie had a whole bowl of paretree, which was probably some kind of game bird. Even together with Kyle nibbling on a stewed piece of vegetable, it was unlikely he would finish, but Korim felt obliged to treat the brave kitty, and the woman at the stand found him quite adorable and nonthreatening.
“So where do we sit?” Korim asked, balancing the trays of clay bowls carefully.
There was no seating that he could see, not that he expected any. Borealan markets did not emphasize convenience.

Kipp shrugged, taking his bowl from the tray, expecting Korim to drop all of it before they made it anywhere uncrowded to settle down.

"The back of the shop is probably less busy than here." He suggested, walking that direction himself while sipping at the steaming bowl. The narrow alley way between buildings was significantly less crowded than the main street through the town.

Both Take and Hana took their own bowls of stew and followed Kipp. That’s when Hana filled him in on what happened. When they made it to the back of the building they situated themselves on the ground. Take made sure to sit by Emma and give her her stew. The bowl was quite large for a child, so he’d understand if she didn’t finish. “You can give whatever you don’t finish to Kit” he informed her. He looked thoughtfully into his bowl, reconsidering his decision to go after Blair so soon and to actually wait for a period of time. He was sure she was fine, she could handle herself and had the strength to do so. That’s when Take looked up towards the sky. They don’t have a moon here right? He shook himself of these thoughts and glanced at Korim, who had also ordered the spicy stew. “Yo Korim, I bet I can down this faster than you” he smirked.

Blair made her way through the Rugæ market, ignoring the stares she got. Her senses were working on overdrive, trying to detect any scent of the boy or any movement. It was difficult, because she didn't want to stray too far in fear of the we-sa. I should have brought Hana or someone with me...
She could handle herself, but if the we-sa came out of nowhere, she didn't know if she could fight back. "Damn it, come on, Alex. Where are you?"
