I dont know. It's early night time where kipp is. But they worked all day before escaping. You guys have been walking, but you've not stopped for lunch, and there's no reason you wouldnt if you have food, at tye very least eat as you walk. It can be what ever time of day you need it to be. There is apparently a forest. I thought there wasnt any trees on the mountains and now there is. I am suspicious of the tress near Kipp since they werent supposed to be there.

I’m going with that they are in a young forest of the less dangerous sort that sprouted up in recent years. Remember, Korim doesn’t know what the land will be like, no one has gone that far from his village for a number of years.
Also I like how I’ve been spelling Boreala wrong this whole time.
