Awwww, the head things sound like me too, I never remember anything. Hope you guys have a good day soon too.Oh, man, I actually think I understand that.
Yesterday we went to clean out the house we're about to rent out -we've been living in it for two years- with the assumption that we only had a little work to do before we showed it to potential tenants.
...14 straight hours of organizing, packing, scrubbing, washing, and it still wasn't totally up-to-par.
And it's just Mom and I. No help. I can't even count the breakdowns. Thanks to severe Lyme, we're both having a pretty rough time mentally and to forget where we're going, what we're doing, or what we're saying within a matter of seconds is effortless. I'm not even going to get started on the psychical aspects. And when she (Mom) realizes just how bad her head is after losing her mother to dementia, it's tough for her to keep going.
It gets ugly. And really sad. But we make it. By ourselves. Day by day.
...I might've just overshared, but I definitely want to commiserate with you, Kate.Good enough is indeed good enough, and ya have to be proud of yourself for it.
