The hitch hiker

Look at it this way. What is one more?

I want to mention this in case anyone is interested. I finally found what is almost the perfect litter. I tried just about every brand on the market and my house still smelled like a litter box. Now it doesn't. If you want more info, PM me. No, I am not selling the stuff. I just use it. I didn't say what it was because I didn't know if that was allowed, and I didn't want my post to sound like a sales pitch.
Might be helpful to others too, so I say share away.
I've been considering using the horse stall pine pellets but a sifter box would work better for it. Sifter boxes are expensive and too small. Considered making one, but lifting the top box to shake/sift is also difficult. LOL
I'll take any tips I can get.

It is called Pretty Litter. It is available online. It is silica gel crystals, whatever they are. It dries the poop. You just scoop the poop, flush it down the toilet, and stir the litter once a day. Stirring the litter once a day is important. You change out the litter once a month. I change mine on the first of the month, so I don't forget. It is lightweight so I don't have to deal with heavy bags of clay litter. To start, you dump the whole bag in a clean litter box, scoop and stir once a day, and change out once a month. There is no odor to the litter box. None. Mine is shipped to me automatically once a month. Since it is lightweight you might want to get a litter box with high sides. I got mine on amazon.

Last month a tiny kitten hitched a ride on the underside of my husband's truck. We don't know from when or where. The neighbor's cat alerted to it. Took us about 40 minutes to get her out as she would travel from the spare tire in the back to somewhere in the middle of the truck (and it was hot). Had a burn on her little nose that is now healed.
She isn't named yet, only dubbed Hitch Hiker at the vet, because I've been trying to find her a home. Guess she's staying. LOL
Her first foray in the yard.

She's adorable, sounds like she has adopted you :)

I'll look into it. Thanks for letting me know.
