The Honey Factory

Pulled two full supers from the Golden West hive. They confirmed that I was not going to be able to wait until September to pull supers.

I put the 2/3 full top super back on and added an empty super.

The Sweet Clover bloom is still going strong. Seeing lots of bees on the Rocky Mountain Bee plants and the Sow thistle (ID by Google Lens although it doesn't look like a thistle to me).

Sow thistle according to Google Lens.

The bees are on the goldenrod! We have a LOT of it. The bumble bees got there first, but now the girls are on it too.
I thought our Goldenrod was done. Blueberry Field across the creek has exploded with it. This should get the last medium loaded and capped. I was going to bottle up what I had but decided to wait and bottle everything at the same time. Then get started on milling up a complete hive for next spring, also extending the honey room another 4 feet.

Pulled the supers off of the Wyoming Italians. Top super was as it was when put on. Middle super had a couple of frames with small areas of capped honey. Bottom super looks to have about 7 capped frames.

Trying this method for mite control on this hive.
