How long until the cuttings rot?

I don't remember, probably a month or so. Sometimes I forget about them!

I keep mine planted in soil, but I root cuttings in water. I tried rooting in soil but didn't have as much success. However, I find if I keep my cuttings in water for too long they begin to rot.

Yes that’s imo best way to get the cuttings started then transfer to soil I use a pot with a hole in the bottom set in a pot tray and keep it filled with water

Anyone with experience with Norfolk pine tree? I keep it outside in spring and summer sadly a storm came through and blew the pot over spilling all the soil everywhere and tree and root ball bare I’m currently out of soil but plan on getting some this morning will it be ok once it’s repotted? I’m so upset I’ve grown this sweetie from a 3 inch plant to almost 3 feet!

I've had Norfolk pines before but my ex wife had a brown thumb lol it should be fine with bare roots for a few hours/ days if wrapped up and kept wet. Alot of plants/trees are shipped bare root, they are resilient
