The "I have no patience and I WANT EGGS!" thread

I have 3 15 week olds (and a rooster who was SUPPOSED to be a girl). Nothing yet, but boy am I ready.

i cheated and found two cheap hens on craigslist...but am hoping that my other three that are off the age catch on soon.

I didn't read all the posts but I too am getting tired of waiting. I've been getting maybe 3 eggs a day from 20 girls. 8 different breeds. I just started them on layer last week when the first egg was laid. 21wks old this week. I did find two soft shelled eggs on the floor, like they dropped them from the roost. One I found in the run in the beginning was the largest, but everyone after that has been small.

Count me in! My girls are a little over 4mos old. The cuteness factor is gone since they are older (I guess they are pretty

) and now its time for some eggs!!

Tomarrow will be 21 wks and nothing yet hopefully when I get home there will be one

My two RIRs are 19 weeks! I am very excited! Is there anything that needs to be done to the nests?

I've got 11 hens that are 18 weeks old today, 3 that are 17 weeks old this week and more that are 16 weeks old, even more that are younger!!! I too can't wait for my first egg/s.
