I love the naked necks from ideal. I'd like to get more, but my flock is bigger than I want now.

I have 15 chicks and 11 adult hens but I intend to thin my 'herd' latter lol

My family & other chicken lady friend thought I was crazy for wanting one! I opened the box, wondered why there were 4 Buff Orpington instead of 3, and realized when it poked its head up that there wasn’t any feathers on its neck!

I have 27 standard hens, 1 standard rooster (he's busy), 1 standard (pullet) chick, 2 bantam roosters, 6 bantam hens, 6 bantam cockerels, 3 bantam pullets, 13 chicks, and 11 eggs under two hens.
I agreed to take on someone else's flock (moving) and that will add 9 full size and 9 bantams. I'm not very good about thinning. I just build on.
If I run across Ideal naked necks at atwoods, I'll buy some for my girls to raise, but I won't go out of my way to order them.
