The Ignis Brotherhood ~^~ A Technology Roleplay ~^~

Dally sighed. Lexa and Violet would probably never really understand human emotion. "Let's just say that a person's parents dying is a big event in said person's life, usually affecting said person."

"Guess so..." Lexa replied with a shrug, "Well, sorry that he's so messed up, he was a good friend once, when we were kids, but, at least now we can use the dude." She gave a certain unabashed half smile.

"Okay," Anise replied, trying to keep her tone even. She wasn't in the mood for food either, the beer was coming her nerves, a bit, but not much, "You can have whatever plants you want, by the way, I know they'er not mine, but he owes me." She told Rin, exiting the kitchen and sitting on the couch.

Rings eyes widened, "No, I couldn't! I'm not sure if I could take care of them properly, for one thing." And for another, I want him to forget I exist, that way he won't recognize me when I'm spying on him.

Dally sighed. "You're not supposed to apologize for him."

Violet shrugged. "People who have lost stuff are good; they don't have much else to lose." stated she, matter-of-factly.

"You're right about that, Vi." Lexa agreed in an upbeat tone, ignoring what Dally had said and turning to leave the warehouse, "let's head out, you two hungry?" She asked as she looked back at them with her usual playful, yet somehow menacing smile.

Rins eyes widened, "No, I couldn't! I'm not sure if I could take care of them properly, for one thing." And for another, I want him to forget I exist, that way he won't recognize me when I'm spying on him.

"Yeah, I guess you're right, I have no idea what plants need, so I'd be no help there." Anise replied, taking another sip of her beer. Rin's plan to be forgotten, while good when applied to the majority of people living under the dome, would be pointless when applied to someone like Aspen: with his photographic memory and ability to take in every detail of his surroundings, storing the data until needed, it would be almost impossible for him to forget her.

Anise got up from the sofa and walked across the room to the frat screen in the wall, it didn't have anywhere to put a disk in, those were a thing of the past, but she had bought a DVD player, one of the last models ever made, and had got it to work with the TV. Anise turned on the systems and grabbed a cd case sitting on a side table, pulling out the DVD in it, and popping it into the player.

She went back to the couch and sat down, picking up the remote and flicking through the previews to the menu. "I don't know if you're still interested, but if you want, I still have this nature doc." Anise offered with a slight smile, trying to change the mood, and hopefully take her mind off her problems with Aspen.

Vi shrugged, and nodded at her.
Dally nodded vigorously. "I'm always hungry."

Um, I probably should, help you out, but…Well, I need to clear my head after the crazy and the stress is making my claustrophobia worse. I think I'm gonna explode. I don't know if you've noticed, but there aren't any windows here. And it's underground. Underground. Who chose this place? It's not like there's curb appeal. "I um, I gotta go." Oh, nice excuse, Rin.

"Yeah, sorry, I shouldn't have asked after all, that." Anise said in a finite way, she knew that their friendship was most likely over, how could Rin feel comfortable just hanging out after that fiasco? And even if their friendship wasn't over, it would never be the same, it'd always be tainted. "Bye, Rin." She finished, forcing a smile.
