The Ignis Brotherhood ~^~ A Technology Roleplay ~^~

((Violet's vantage point would be concealed from the ground))

Violet kept her gun trained on Aspen, taking in and analyzing his movements carefully. She watched his facial expressions as he looked around. For some reason it seemed like he was a bit nervous, but she couldn't tell why. Was there something he wasn't telling them?

Dally kept his weapons down, but in a ready position. He had met Aspen twice before, and knew that he could have anything up his sleeve. He nodded in acknowledgement of his presence.

Louis looked up to see the rest of the fac still hesitating to continue with their work. He talked over the radio system in their masks. "Guys we need to get this done, especially if the Claudos are attacking right now." He said voicing his thoughts, just as he reached the end of his section. He had the machines holding him in place pull him back towards the top. He began to check the seams between the metal, re welding sections that looked slightly weaker, glad to hear activity below him.

((I edited it! Sorry. :) P.S. Aspen is pretty good at hiding his emotions, but I like that she could tell that there was something up.)

Aspen returned Dally's nod, then looked back to Lexa, "It's good to see you again, as you know, I'm interested in making another deal with Claudos."

Lexa gave a smile, tilting her head slightly as she answered, "Yes, and I'm guessin' you want to go outside the dome again, to do some environment saving, am I right?" Her tone was condescending, she knew he was trying to do the right thing, but in her opinion, it couldn't be done.

"You are, is that still an option?" Aspen replied, when he had first opened the door and surveyed the seen, he had let some of the emotions related to Anise show by accident. But from the moment he had returned Dally's nod, he went back to his collected and business like demeanor, only thinking of the task at hand.

Lexa pretended to have to think about it, "Well, for the right price."

"What would you require?" Aspen asked, slightly hesitant, but not showing it.

Lexa didn't wait to answer, now all business, "Pass codes and security clearnesses. I want them for the north, south-west, and central armories." Those were the best, most well stocked armories in the city, containing the most elite weapons, armer, and vehicles. Aspen would be hard pressed to get it done, but she knew that if anyone could, it was him.

Aspen paused before answering, it was a very, very high price, one that could easily cost him his life if something went wrong, but there was no use haggling with Lexa, they both knew he was quiet capable of doing it. "Agreed, codes and clearnesses."

"What do you know about this, Lexa?" Anise asked, a feeling of dread settling in her, she knew this couldn't be good, and she didn't know how much more bad news she could take, but she had to know.

Rin shifted uncomfortably, "Well – and this could be some other Lexa, like a secret girlfriend or something – but the Lexa I know about is um…Claudos."

Anise let out a long, slow breath, "It's the Claudos Lexa, then..." She looked straight at Rin, and continued it a definite, no question about in kind of way, "We both know he doesn't have a secret girlfriend." Anise knew he couldn't keep a relationship like that going, he had a 'lady friend', but she did not count as a girlfriend, and Anise knew about her.

(Who's his "lady friend"?)

"Well, it could be…something else?" Um, I think that came out as a question? S***… "Technically." Yup. Because we all know how much "technically" helps. Rin found herself gnawing on the inside of her cheek. This was so bad.

(I don't think I can explain that on here, let's say they keep each other company, but I may make her character later, she's an Ire, and she has lost a lot in her life. I wanted to bring another dimension to his character.)

"Rin, you are a great friend, and I really, really appreciate that you are trying let me down easy, but whatever it 'technically' is, it's not good." Anise was very thankful that Rin was there, even if it was only furthering the gap between her and Aspen every time they found more evidence against him. She sighed, and continued, "He is in contact with a Claudos, he could easily be in contact with more, and I have a strong feeling his disappearing act has something to do with it."

((Awesome :D ))

Dally watched the exchange quietly, glancing around the room.

Violet continued to stare down Aspen, calculating every movement he made. She was quite adept at reading body language and emotions, and, even without being able to hear it, she could have known what they were talking about.
