This is just a question on the importance of deworming chickens
I have 4 barred rock pullets around the age of 7+ months , I have never used a dewormer on them and was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is a more natural way compard to the chemical ways that is just as sufficient .
I've read about pumpkin soup and a few others but being new to chickins i would like a more experienced opinion.
How often , how necessary and natural vs. Chemical.
And my birds do free range for 3-4 hrs a day so they do get into alot of white snails and the occasional earthworm when they're lucky.
Appreciate any comments helpful or not .
