Hi, just wanted to share a few pictures of my Jubilee Orpington pullets that I picked up last week.

Fred- 6 week old rooster. The only egg out of 14 shipped eggs that hatched.

I feel your pain. I picked up 18 eggs when I went through Raleigh and ended up with 4 cockerels and only 3 pullets. I didn't think the lady did a good job packing the eggs (I didn't open them until I got home and they were upside-down in the cartons). I gambled and had the same lady ship 18 eggs (stressing the proper side up) and she took a clear PLASTIC egg carton, added ONE layer of bubble wrap and stuck it in a flat rate USPS box. Only one out of 18 eggs hatched and it turned out to ba another cockerel. It has been over 6 months and I'm hoping for eggs soon so I can add some pullets.

I bought another dozen from a different person on eBay and got 6 out of 14. They are only 3 weeks old so still too early to be 100% on gender.
