So..
I'm hoarding eggs again. Any egg over 3-4 days old, I save for myself...

I finally sold a bunch of leftover eggs as eating eggs (3-4 days old and nothing older) and have a bunch of eggs that are a week+
All refrigerated and what not; most washed in a light bleach solution for my testing.

So into the bator they go... I have NO idea how old these eggs are... could be one week, could be eight weeks (I've been planning on doing my experiment and the bator opened up last week

)... my last post was on eggs that were two weeks old up to eight weeks old with a 75% embryo formation before my bator exploded and fried them all... so here we go again!

I have 42 NICE dark brown eggs... Black Copper Marans and Cuckoo Marans

Leftover chicks will probably be sold on BYC

I think I set them last week *face plant*
I'll let you know how the hatch goes!

I'm excited already!
Gotta fire up the other 2 bators - 1 is already fired up, just tinkering with temperature and going to start the next one up.

Also, 4 of my hens are broody... time to roll some eggies underneath them.
If anyone is interested in chickies let me know!

What am I going to do if all 42 eggs hatch out?
And all the eggs underneath the four broodies hatch?!

I'll have to build an addition to the house!
