The Incubator Thread

A word of caution!!! I was scammed last year by a seller of cabinet incubators. There are postings on Ebay right now that are suspiciously similar to the scammed products. The bator look exactly like the ones from last year. I paid for the bator and never received the product. Called the seller for 4 months and made a BBB complaint even, with no resolution. The products and website vanished that spring. PLEASE PLEASE use caution! The bators are sold under a new company name. Lets just say the bators are 'red' . I just looked up the address from their contact information and it is a Phillip 66 gas station. My intent for this caution notice is not to deface a company but to protect the consumers.

Thanks for the heads up!

I am hoping that the network of BYC can get the word out. I will be the first to say sorry if this is a legit. business. I suppose it would be the next thing to do is to alert Ebay, unsure how but I will look into it. thanks spread the work.

Hi I just bought a new Brinsea Octagon 40 Advance ex... I am not familiar with the Periodic Incubation Cooling System. Any one used it ? what are your thoughts?

In my opinion you can not go wrong with the GQF Genesis Hova-Bator. I just purchased my second one a few days ago ($134). Set it up and the temperature and humidity was regulated within a few hours and neither has had to be adjusted since.
