Seriously going to lose it at the PO tomorrow they sent one of my "hold at PO" egg boxes on the mail truck today! Never scanned it in or out etc. they knew I was waiting for another box they just don't care... It's so frustrating for the cost of postage! I'm going to have to file a claim didn't last time w/ a foot print indent on my box as nothing broke but so careless and disrespectful

Geesh! They hardly get anything right with shipped eggs. I think it will get even worse the closer it gets to the holidays. I hope that thing's go ok with yours, though!
 
That is exactly why im so nervous to try shipped eggs. I know post office wont be careful no matter how many fragile signs are on it. And they could mess it up! And thats not something you want with eggs! Time is everything!

I can understand that. I don't want to ship mine neither because of that.
 
Luckily everything was intact this morning great packing was to thank I'm sure! The air cells were perfect on 4 out of 6 a couple were a little wonky but they were just sitting at the PO last night so I let them warm up for a few hours and just stuck them in! 4 BBS Ameraucanas and 2 OE's must be F1's they r super dark Marans looking eggs beautiful!!! I had a very experienced breeder this morning tell me to keep my hands off the **** eggs in a nice polite way lol! Just gave me his methods that's what I took from it

I went to the tractor supply last night and much to my fiancé's dismay I scored an awesome brooder hutch for $60 on clearance marked down from 150 I haven't had the guts or the heart to tell him the little ones can fly a little it is fully enclosed w/ remove able tray perch etc. beats the tote box and window screen I was going to use we are way over budget on the coop we are building... I

Oh thank god theyre okay! I have heard horror stories about shipped eggs. But im glad it worked out for you!
