I know right but she thinks its a pullet because it has a tail already??? Oh well. She said she is going to keep it till 4 months and if it is a cockerel she will give it back to me and I will re-home it

Well, get ready to re-home it then. So, she thinks that cockerels don't have tails? I have 4 cockerels here still from my hatch that haven't sold yet, and they all have tails.

I know it is a cockerel but yeah she said some youtube video said that if they have tails by a certain age they are pullets??? I wish. But she has also got attached and she says he's part of their family so thats also why she wants to keep it. Im sure she would if she was allowed roosters

So only my blue pullet is laying fertile eggs. But the problem is she has started laying pullet eggs when she was laying normal eggs so i don't know they are suddenly tiny. But this means I can't incubate them

Maybe she is still getting her system worked out.

Whats weirder is that another hen is mounting her and then all the other hens come and peck her until the rooster comes and stops it. I know she is a girl because she lays eggs.... I'm pretty sure its just a dominance thing but its weird alright

I have a batch of pullet eggs in now they were shipped 7/7 are on day 15 looking great!!! The air cells aren't the best but I would put them in!

So i actually saw my rooster mount for the first time. He was so gentle and i don't think he even grabbed on. The pullet just squatted then he walked on, did his thing and walked off. Im so happy how well he turned out

Well, now you have an idea of what he is doing, now that you have caught him in the act. I'm glad that you are happy with him, and that he seems to have some good traits going on that will be worth breeding into your flock.
