After tossing so many clears/scrambled eggs yesterday I totally caved and ordered some penciled Wyandotte bantam eggs they are so beautiful!!!

Oh I already have 2 more batches set so yup lol.... Bad crazy chicken lady bad bad bad bad! Everytime the mister leaves to go hunting for the weekend bad things happen lol I have a totally empty incubator running that makes no sense he doesn't even look anymore so he won't even notice

Help. 2 of my chicks died in shell as the membrane was too dry. I had a temp spike day before yesterday and i think that was why. Not sure how long until i corrected it but i have 3 egg's left in bator. Is there any chance they were not all srink wrapped?

Can you hear any of them peeping? As in internal pip? You can play the cheeping chicks YouTube video to try and get them going too. Otherwise you may hear tapping?

What is your humidity at. For lockdown (last 3 days) it has to be 65% or higher so that the membrane does not stick. If they do get stuck in membrane you will have to get a cloth and soak it in warm water and dab the egg to moisten it then put it back in the bator

What is said is only if they have pipped though. It is a delicate procedure.

So were those due today or yesterday? I guess more info would help when did u open the bator to find out they were dead...?
