Hello there - I know this is not the first time someone has asked this question but I am thinking on purchasing an incubator. Can I have some suggestions on which brand to use from you experienced hatchers?

The one that I am using is a styrofoam one by Little Giant. It is called a Little Giant still air Item #9200. I bought my turner for it separate, as it wasn't included. My turner holds 41 chicken eggs. I have just recently hatched out my 3rd batch of eggs in it. My last 2 hatches were from eggs from my own flock.

I have just realized that I have not given an update on my New Years hatching.

I have ended up with 4 Splash Australorp chicks, and 3 Blue Australorp chicks. All are in the brooder, and they are eating and drinking ok. No pasty butts. With a total of 9 eggs that were in my incubator, my hatching rate was 7/9.

Ok Blue Baby I have seen the same type only a 9300 series at our local TSC store. It has the egg turner located right there with it. There happens to be a Pro Series Digital Circulated Air Incubator Model 4250 sitting next time it . . . Are you familiar with this style?

I am so beyond excited. I won a Brinsea 11 Mini incubator from TheChickenChick and went to Trader Joes for Fertile Eggs and got some that are 3 day's old. Incubator being delivered monday morning and will set these egg's. Happy dancing here.

That's good! Any chance of knowing what breed that the eggs came from?

I believe they are Leghorn.
