I definitely will! You post pics too! I cant wait to see! My mom is excited to have "grandchickens" hahaha only a few more days! Officially only 5 more days until my first hatches!

I will. Mine are bantam eggs that a friend gave me (only 4 but only three are growing) so i heard that sometimes bantams hatch a bit earlier but we will see!

Oh i hope so!! I keep having nightmares that my chick hatches too early and dies!

Yeah i love my lorps! Layed all through winter they did. Not a big fan of being picked up but will happily eat out of your hand and follow you around. If i had raised mine from chicks they would have been more friendly. I bought them at POL!

What breeds do you have?

Are you incubating at the moment?

I only have 3 chickens, two of whom are not laying at all ( one has gone out in sympathy with her best friend I think ) ... yet both are red combed and squatting. ???

The other girl has laid 3 soft shells inside the week - so I am a bit concerned about her. ... She is Mindy Araucana.

The other two - Mandy Welsummer ( who is on anti-inflammatory medications, but overall health is good according to Avian Vet ) ... and Molly RIR. .... That's it.

I have never incubated, and don't intend to, for the simple reason we don't have enough room for more chickens, until we do something about that in the future ... That is presuming the weather will permit it ???

I would get more chickens at POL from a breeder ... no incubations for me.

Safely moved incubator from one house to the other so going into lockdown tonight! I think i will get two out of my three... if any hatch. Two of them you can't see anything through pointy end now but one has still got lots of room in pointy end??? Im guessing that means it quit???

Have you tried adding wet sponges to the bator? That can help with bumping up the humidity
