Hello! Not sure if this is solely a chicken website but long story short, i am attempting the bra incubator as an experiment (with the acception that it could fail) with 4 muscovy duck eggs( 2 in each ). I am a tad bit new to egg hatching but I have spent days and nights researching any possible thing about egg care. Care to join/help me along this journey?

Welcome to BYC!

BYC is for anything poultry so your ducks will fit right in. There's even a forum especially for ducks:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks

I've never hatched anything before but am curious...what's a "bra incubator"? Any photos?

Good luck to you with the duck eggs.

It's nice to have you join us!

It's just as it sounds, NorthFLChick, it's hatching eggs via body heat inside your brasierre (alongside your unmentionables). I think you can get in trouble here for asking for THOSE kind of photos. LOL

Couldn't you have chosen something with a shorter incubation period? lol

so glad you joined us.

Honestly was ROFL when I read your intro, but did a search and there are a number of folks who have also tried this: https://www.backyardchickens.com/newsearch?search=eggs+bra

I only looked at a couple, but seems the only one who was successful did this when they were already piping.

You should post on the incubating and hatching thread, would love to follow the thread :)

The only advice I can offer comes from a post in one of the above threads: 1-be very careful during showers and clothing changes! 2-don't post pics - I think that is likely a breach of BYC policy and 3- consider padding to increase the hatching temp.

I must lead a sheltered life...I've never heard of this method of hatching before, lol.
